I doubt they Packers put a waiver claim in but I could see interest if he clears waivers.

Adding Stills would increase their wr depth at the margins as it would likely leave either Taylor or Sheppard out of a job.

They'd be dumb not to put in a claim; problem is a lot of other teams could as well, and the Packers have to be low on the list because of their record.
I doubt he gets awarded to GB.

Sign Stills. Sign Austin as insurance for Ervin. Super Bowl home boy. :)

This. No harm in doing so. I have never quite understood why Austin hasn't caught on in this role. He was so freaky athletic.

He is a vet so I don't think he has to go through waivers.

Actually he is subject to waivers because it is an in season release after the trade deadline.

The skinny on Stills is that he's talented, but an underachiever. Whether it's because he's dumb or just lazy, I am not sure. I've heard both but I don't know which to believe. He's basically the black Jeff Janis.

A 57 year old DB might not be a great pickup.

In no way in no planet do I want Kenny stills on my team. he is a complete cancer that has played his way out of two organizations already. Furthermore he's no more productive than MBS or lazard or really to be honest even saint Brown.

Technically three organizations.

I gotta agree. the production is not worth everything that comes with it.

Im not sure anyone else picked up on it, but I did. I thought my memory was playing tricks.

I’d rather have Stephen Stills.

To make it seem like Cancerous Brandon for only 1 year doesn’t seem so bad.

Stills is showing as a free agent, so nobody made a claim? IIRC when you claim off waivers you pick up their contract, so maybe someone will sign him for cheap...or maybe he's worn out his welcome in the league.

I think he's pretty much done. He's still a serviceable player, but his ego and aspirations draw him away from the football field. There's nothing wrong with that, but you don't want your veterans doing that. You want vets teaching young players to focus, not diversify.

I will say this. His dad sure was a hoot. Had the pleasure of partying with him at a house during the Mifflin St. block party when he came back to town while with the Pack.

shep's gone? hadn't heard. kinda surprised but just barely. thought they'd keep him so no one would pick his brain.

as for stills. might help some but he doesn't know the O and the time it'll take rodgers to "trust" him is a major factor. somebody will out-bid us if they're interested at all.

I assume the interview will go something like this.
“Well they kept telling me to catch the ball on kick offs if they don’t go into the end zone, but that’s just dumb, right? They also said I could try to run the punts back instead of catching them and standing still. That’s like a penalty or some shit”
