Derek Carr has a groin. Both defenses look piss poor.

Actually, the Raider run D looks good in this game. But Herbert is cleaving them alive and the Charger receivers are running free (and Herbert is making difficult precision throws when his guys are getting more close coverage as well). Mariota looked good on the Raiders' second drive. If he can continue that, this game will be pretty damn entertaining. And short. Hopefully.

Chargers have themselves a QB. His game needs polish but boy, he looks composed out there.

Holy cow, Herbert has a beautiful arm.

That drive at the end of the first half was a thing of art.

Yeah, it was.

Raiders with a nice drive.

Entertaining game.

Watching this game you'd think Mariota was a star. But he does not play like this when he's beaten up. He's quite fresh thanks to his time on the bench.

Man, between Burrow, Herbert, and Tua this draft class looks pretty great for QBs... Hurts has also looked decent in limited play. What are the odds Love also ends up being a good player down the line? If it pans out it could be a historically good class.

I was thinking same thing. IDK if it's 1983 caliber but boy, there's some nice young talent out there.

Bullshit penalty on the goal line. What the fuck is the defender supposed to do there?

Brees will start against Chiefs.

Tough to beat Elway, Marino and Kelly. O'brien was solid. Eason and Blackledge were pretty meh.

So the big 3 from this class so far looking good. Would say they even compare skillset. Marino to Herbert, Kelly to Burrow, Elway to Tua. Love could be the guy to put this class over the top but he comares to...Eason. (as does Hurts).

Hurts and Love are both high ceiling and low floor guys. If one of them hits, it really helps this comparison. Tua/Burrow were high floor (except injury risk) and Herbert was high ceiling also.

Josh Allen is really good at football

He's made big leaps every year. He may win an MVP before Wilson.

He has just as much of a case this year, if not moreso.

He's like a kid out there!

No Ezekial Elliot/No Problem for the Cowboys. I've thought for a long time, Tony Pollard - very much an Aaron Jones type RB - is a better option for them.

Does the ump in this Vikings-Bears game have money on the Vikings? Bears get 1st and goal at the one. With about 10 seconds on the play clock, the ump slowly walks up to the line and slowly announces an eligible receiver. By the time he signals the ball in, the play clock runs out. Really weird.

In the 'any given Sunday' department, Falcons giving the Bucs all they can handle. Atlanta up by a FG in the 4th.
edit: TB just tied it up. 10 minutes left to play

Rams lose to the J-E-T-S. Massive coaching fail

Derrick Henry with 147 yards rushing after 212 the week before. Maybe he's getting tired.

Things pretty much fell right again this week. Saints lose - expected. Rams lose - unexpected. Bears v Vikings? Six of one, half a dozen of the other hahahaha, although it might have been better of the Bears lost and had nothing to play for when the Packers go to Chicago.

Steelers looking terrible tonight. Down 17-0 to Bengals. Big Ben 5-13, -2 yards, 1 INT.

Pitts is not scaring anyone. They are likely going to lose their first round playoff game.
