Reminds me of the Oakland A's during the period Ray Fosse played.

I was thinking more old-school Oregon Ducks uni's.

If the NFL can't stand Redskins, they should at least call them "Washington Team Football" - it makes a better abbreviation.

And is helpful when trying to understand how a top d went to 32nd.

Ha ha, ironically, that's the same abbreviation that flashes in my mind when I read many of your posts. :-)

I think Admiral Akbar, after carefully studying all the advanced analytics and Full 22 camera angles, has all the information regarding this game that you need to know.

I would take the under on this game. Statistics will tell you otherwise, but the WFT defense has talent and playing against a QB like Rodgers may bring out their best. That still may be mediocre, but I'm just saying I don't expect their defense to play like the worst in the league come Sunday. Washington historically plays tough vs the Packers even when their team sucks.

I wonder if Bak plays. WTF has 2 really good bookend edge guys. Would be nice to have Bak shut one down.

Otherwise a defense I thought would be special is playing....well, special. Without the top notch D, WTF lives up to their new abbreviation thanks to Tex.

WFT has released kicker Dustin Hopkins and are going with Chris Blewitt. Yes you read that right. They are going with a kicker whose last name is Blewitt.

Most of country gets Packers/WFT. Once again, Joe Davis and Greg Olson with the call. Lower peninsula of Michigan gets Detroit at L.A. Ram late. Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez with the call.

I have seen this kicker before somewhere. All I remember is that...well...when trying for the FG... he blew it.

It's akin to signing a quarterback named "Interception" Or perhaps a lineman named "Penalty"

Blewitt was a Pitt kicker. Now Pitt has a QB named Pickett.

IIRC Blewitt was part of the K competition in Da Bares camp as a result of their season ending on the double-doink. Found the name funny then, still do.

#Packers S Darnell Savage returned to practice today, an important step in him clearing concussion protocol.

CB Kevin King (shoulder) practiced for second straight day. Gives him a chance for Sunday.

Preston Smith (oblique), Josh Myers (knee) and Dennis Kelly (back) DNP.

Getting King back gives them more options. Getting Savage back is really important; Henry Black isn't awful but he's definitely a step down.
I don't think Preston, Myers or Kelly will play. Preston might get a handful of snaps because it's his former team but I'm hearing an oblique injury can take a few weeks to heal. I'm guessing Myers has an MCL injury which can be up to 6 weeks; it might not be that bad since he hasn't been put on IR yet. Kelly is probably keeping Bahktiari's roster spot warm... my gut tells me Bahk probably skips WAS and suits up for the ARI game. OL/PS roster maneuvers will telegraph who plays.

Preston Smith is practicing today. Looks like he’ll try and preserve his streak of 107 consecutive games played since entering the NFL.

Darnell Savage Jr. also practicing again.

No Josh Myers, Malik Taylor or Dennis Kelly.

Packers C Josh Myers is headed to injured reserve, meaning he’ll miss games against Washington, Arizona and Kansas City before becoming eligible to return.

Ben Braden activated from practice squad.

Now they need a OT named Brian Holding. The circle would be complete. Perhaps round it out with a RB named Jonathan Fumbling.
