Praying for the Loins to eat the Bares.

Be helpful if the Las Oakgeles Raiders would beat the McCarthy's, but I'm not hopeful.

Bills need to get right.

OMG.

Lions/Bears is agony to watch.

We are SO spoiled as Packers fans.

It's really an indictment if you are an offensive player and the Bears draft you. Still, I feel horrible for anyone so unfortunate.

Raiders did everything they could to try and lose that game. I don’t think the Packers will really benefit as injuries have diminished our chances to pick up any ground on the Bucs and Cards.

Brady gets all the calls. 3rd and 8. 84 of the Bucs pushes DB. Incomplete. DB gets flagged.

New England moves to 8 - 4. The more games Mac Jones plays, the more dangerous that offense becomes.

Anybody else think the refs jobbed Logan Thomas on that 4th down call? It was close, but was there indisputable evidence? Or was it just a better game if it got called incomplete?

Seattle didn't win. But I showed by numerology that the games are not a natural occurrence. He got his fake injuries ,so they made sure the numbers lined up for this game.
And of course the last drive was as fake as the day is long.

Well, if you're the Washington defensive coordinator, you're shitting your pants looking at this. For one, the three linebackers are just standing there, no one to cover, and clearly the play has been going on for awhile, as Wilson is cocking his arm to throw. Secondly the two safeties are running with their backs to the QB - but not running toward any receivers, just running - while a Seattle receiver is wide, wide open over the middle. And third - from a Seattle perspective - what's Wilson doing getting ready to throw downfield to a covered receiver when there's a wide open receiver standing in the middle of the field?

There is a lot wrong that with that picture.

Maybe they were aiming to contain Russ. The Chiefs defended the boundaries rather than the middle of the field with Love at QB, and Russ has a much more severe vision disadvantage over the middle compared to Love. Definitely an interesting facet to gameplanning him.

Going to watch the Bears game with interest. Lots of melodrama down here in the flat land surrounding the Chicago football team and what the future holds for the coaches, front office personnel and ultimately the players. I want to see how the players (and their contracts) perform. My gut is telling me next week's game at Lambeau is setting up as a trap game.

Or a ref jobbing. We’re good for one or two referee games where they take over the game.

Wasn't that similar to a questionable call against the Packers last week? Are they suddenly emphasizing that now or something?

Not even close. A DL was chasing Rodgers from behind and Patrick threw a legit blindside block on. On this one the FB blocked a blitzing edge player head on and the QB went straight back in his drop.

texaspackerbacker
12-03-2021, 12:52 PM
I saw the game and the play, and it looked very similar to what Patrick got called for - a block just to the back side of center mass as the pass rusher was bearing down on the QB. Apparently that's against the rules. I would suggest it shouldn't be, and I don't think it's been routinely called.

Basically this. Patrick's was a legit penalty, but it was close to being legal - just caught too much helmet.

The play last night was just bullshit. If you're pursuing the ball you should just turn your body to make yourself defenseless. Then it's a penalty. How is a passrusher defenseless against a RB in blitz pickup?

Reminds me of playing recreational tackle football. It was rugby style tackling, but rather than tackling from behind you could two hand touch. People would try to sidestep you to get behind you rather than just tackling you until they figured out that shit don't fly.

Wrong, numerology is the truth. It shows calling something coincidence is for fools.

It's a made up term so stupid people don't question reality.

I mean, jeezus, you've watched the Packers straight lay down in th conference championship the last couple years and you're still ignorant to the reality?
