We're really needing Buffalo to beat Tampa or to win out ourselves. Otherwise TB will probably take the bye.

I had been high on Buffalo, not so much anymore.

Tampa's got two against Carolina, do the Panthers have a chance to split?

The Baltimore game is concerning to me.

If the Pack plays well, they win, but the Ravens aren't slouches.

Cam has been terrible the last 2 games. They might have a chance if he gets it back together.

That's a big "if".

Strange that none of ya'all are talking about the Cardinals. We really need either the Rams or Cowboys to beat them for the Packers to get the top seed. True, the Ravens game is the big game for us. If we win that/win out, we will have the tiebreaker over Tampa based on conference record and of course, the Cardinals on head to head.

Go Bears this week - I wouldn't rule out a big upset there over the Cardinals.

I wouldn't rule it out either. It's gonna be chilly, windy and maybe rainy in Chicago on Sunday. I've seen plenty of warm weather teams go into Chicago in December and struggle offensively.

They beat Detroit by 2.

Did 1/2 of Arizona's team get covid and I missed it?

This is the worst bears team in awhile. Since pre Cutler anyway I think.

Bears played the Packers tough a few weeks ago. That was a 3 point game mid way through the 4th quarter. They lost by 3 a couple of weeks ago to Baltimore. The beat Cincinnati earlier this year. Bears can be tough at home. Anything can happen.

I want them to win, but I have no doubt they won't. Bears still suck

Is Justin Fields back? That would help their chances. Unfortunately, he seems like the real deal.

They’ve looked better with Dalton. I’m less worried about Fields than when they drafted him. Dude has 4 TDs and 8 interceptions on the year.

Iike the Cards Bears matchup on soldier field.
As opposed to arizona.
That's a old school game and two simple helmets

It’s predetermined. Arizona wins. 42.

For #1 seed, Packers need to win out and need Arizona to lose 1 game vs. NFC opponent. That is all.

Actually, H2H comes before conference record, right? So assuming we win out, they just need to lose any one game. If it goes to a three way tiebreak with the Bucs/Packers/Cards, we would want to be tops in conference %, though.

That's why I said Arizona needs to lose an NFC game. So the Packers will have a better conference record than them.

If we win out and Arizona loses a game, I’m pretty sure we’d get the #1 seed.

In a two way tie, we have have them on head-to-head.

If Tampa Bay won out, Tampa Bay would be eliminated on the second tiebreak (conference record) and then it would revert to head-to-head vs Arizona.

If we win out and it's a three way tie, we would at worst be tied for conference record with Arizona, as their two losses so far are in conference, same as our two in conference. In that scenario, it would be based on our h to h win against them, right?

Other Tie-Breaking Procedures

3. To determine home-field priority among division-titlists, apply Wild Card tie-breakers.

To Break A Tie For The Wild-Card Team

2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

Three or More Clubs
**(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)**

2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.

Number 1 in the To Break A Tie For The Wild-Card Team section and number 1 in the Three or More Clubs only apply to teams that don't win their division.

Packers can clinch the NFC North with a Queens loss to the Steelers on Thursday and a Pack victory over the Mobsters of the Midway Sunday night.

Please God, anyone but the Bucs.

Though I am still haunted by that Packer playoff loss in the desert several years ago. The Packer defense was nonexistent in that game. What was the final score, like 47-44 or something? It was stupid. I lost my voice for a week because of Dom Capers.

Someone should ask Zimmer in his PC today about playoffs.
