So much for the Packers clinching the division this week. Vikings are doing to the Steelers what Rodgers usually does to the Bears.

Just turned it on.

I did not anticipate this.

160+ yards rushing for the Vikings AT THE HALF.

Ended up with an exciting finish. Steelers put themselves into too much of a deficit in the first half, but they almost came back there.

Chiefs lead Raiders 21-0. Chiefs looking like it might be 3 straight Superb Owls for them.

I hate to say it, but good. The Packers really have a shot at home field and the bye if they can somehow win out.

Something is off about this analogy. I mean I get it, he doesn’t get you excited. But wouldn’t you be excited by someone else’s skirt being blown up, not your own??

They really should be, that team is build well except for a deficiency at RB. There is no reason for their inconsistency.

wow Fournette is playing well. 50 yards rushing in the first quarter. Also, Brady has 4 rushes for 17 yards, what is that all about?

The way I read the playoff picture, we really really need the Rams to beat Arizona tomorrow night. Not only do we have the head to head on the Cardinals, but if all three teams - Packers, Bucs, and Cards end up with the same 14-3 record, we would get the top seed with only two conference losses compared to three for Arizona and four for Tampa.

I see somebody already mentioned it, but Lamar Jackson was carted off. If we get the Ravens without him, that's big. I doubt any QB means as much to their team as him - other than Aaron Rodgers, of course.

I stand corrected hahahaha. Still, the Rams are 2 ahead of the Niners and 3 ahead of the other 5 or so teams that have a chance in the loss column. Their losing wouldn't do much to change things. The battle is in that cluster of mediocrity battling for the 7th spot - our first round opponent if Arizona doesn't lose.

Rams will be without Jalen Ramsey, among others.

The Los Angeles Rams placed Jalen Ramsey and Tyler Higbee on the reserve/COVID-19 list, knocking the star cornerback and starting tight end out of Monday night's key NFC West game against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium.

They join starting right tackle Rob Havenstein, running back Darrell Henderson and cornerback Dont'e Deayon, who have been placed on the team's COVID list over the past two days.

Joemailman
12-13-2021, 06:42 PM
Miami Dolphins running back Phillip Lindsay is joining his backfield mates on the reserve/COVID-19 list, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Monday.

Lindsay tested positive for COVID-19, Pelissero added.

The Dolphins previously placed Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed on the reserve/COVID-19 list late last week after positive tests. With Lindsay joining them, Miami currently doesn't have any running backs on the active roster. The trio's status for Sunday's game against the New York Jets is in doubt.

Could be a busy week for Tua. They've activated Duke Johnson and signed Dexter Williams to practice squad. Dolphins had bye last week.

Excellent game for the Packers! I have thought all along that the Rams are the best of the other conference teams, and tonight they played like it.

If I'm not mistaken, we control our own destiny now. After next Sunday, our schedule is fairly cupcake too, and even if the Ravens are not without Lamar Jackson, he likely will be way less than 100%.

Um... Really? Rams losing benefits the 5 six win teams to all have a better chance at playoffs.
But th fact that there's 4 games left still leaves that wide open.
The league was more interested in making the Bucs , Packers more relevant.
But if Rodgers foot narrative gets in the way. Packers won't be any more valid than Rams who will no doubt take a dive now

Isn't this the part of the story where, finally having regained control of their own destiny, the Packers promptly lose? Though losing at home on Christmas day would be a more compelling Hollywood story - but only if they then rebounded to win the Superb Owl.

The D is making place when it needs to.

I, amazingly, agree with Cheddar in that the League wants a Boston/Brady 'Owl and will nudge things in that direction.
