Only 2 games, Giants at Bears and Lions at Seahawks, do not have playoff implications.

Trey Lance may get the start for 49ers with Jimmy G having a thumb injury.

Fuck the NFL for lots of reasons, but man, they have a system that maximizes drama and ensures viewership.

As entertainment goes, thumbs up.

Bucs in a tight one with the J-E-T-S. This season is insane.

What’s up with Antonio Brown stripping his way into the locker room while the Bucfuckneers were on offense?

I kid you not.

Bruce Arians stated in the postgame interview that Antonio Brown is "no longer a Buc[caneer]." Whoring their credibility with him got them a Super Bowl, though, so probably worth it from their perspective.

Too bad the Jets shit the bad at the end of the game.

Dallas looking beatable this week. They have another tough one next week. The Eagles are playing alright.

I don’t even know if locking up the 1 seed this week would help us much. A week off and a bye, I could see that being an issue

Plenty of Packers could use the extra week off. J-Alex, Cobb, Z, 12, etc.

Rodgers will be on with Mannings in 4th quarter.

They look like it's painful for them to watch Baker Mayfield play.

Hey sharpcheddar, maybe you didn't see this when I asked it in the gameday thread or just didn't respond: If everything is predetermined by the league - like pro wrestling as you say, then WHY would they have the Packers beat the Vikings yesterday - thereby greatly decreasing the drama across the league and presumably the money coming in too?

George Cumby

It's painful for anyone who cares about football to watch Baker Mayfield play, unless you're a fan of the team the Brownies are playing.

I was bagging on Mayfield earlier this year but found out this morning he's nursing a torn labrum.

He might not be as awful as I thought.

texaspackerbacker
01-04-2022, 10:48 PM
Throwing arm labrum or other? If it's the other, it's no excuse for his crappiness. If it is his throwing arm, it's hard to believe he could throw at all. But don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for Mayfield - we might not have won that game without him.

01-04-2022, 11:36 PM
Nah, you generate throwing power in part with the shoulder exchange. As much as pros don't like to admit it, pain definitely impacts performance. He's just an average QB when healthy, though. Brownies should be looking to upgrade.

No way, dude.

If your off shoulder is injured, it's still going to affect your throwing mechanics and power output.

I agree with your other points though.
