Enormous NT prospect who looks the part off the snap but is very raw when it comes to beating blockers to halt the run or get after the QB.

Great. Another potential guy. At least its a 7th and not a 1st and two seconds.

To be honest I'm not even sure he has much potential. he's an oversized underachiever.

Pre-Draft Analysis
Ford is a massive nose tackle with the power to knock blockers back on their heels on contact. He takes too long to get off blocks, and he's not a natural finisher. He has limited upside as a pass-rusher. -- Steve Muench

PS project and competition for Slaton. Might be able to play a role on ST.

Looks like a real project. Of all the Packers picks, probably has the least chance to make he 53. Decent guy to have on PS though.

Bigger than Lancaster, can probably at least block as well on FG team. Seemed like he was out of position at Miami when he wasn't cast in the space eater role to free up Quincy Roche, Jaelon Philips and Gregory Rousseau. Kind of a meh pick but if you need to add bulk in short yardage situations you could do worse. Is Heflin better? We'll find out.

Out of all the picks this is the one I'm least excited about tbh but for a R7 pick it's ok I guess.
