I debate between 11-13 wins so I'm just choosing the middle one.

I'll say 15-2, but as always, I honestly don't see any likely losses. We'll probably slip up a couple of times and lose games we shouldn't.
I usually would have gone 18 - 0 (winning in the off week also).
This season I have a bit of a queasy feeling.
Good enough to win the north.
After that things, much like my alleged mind, get foggy.
Ah fuck ..
10 - 7
(I was told math wouldn’t be required)

13-4
Losses to KC, Bucs, Bills, Vikes.
All away games.

13-4 seems likely
Losses: at Minnesota, at Buffalo, at Detroit, Rams.

Minnesota? Sheeeeeesh. I could see maybe losing to Buffalo at their place, but even that would take a letdown. Is that Lions game the end of season game that might be meaningless? Yeah, if so, that could be a loss.

By “KC,” Cumby meant that he is expecting the Packers to lay an egg against the New York Football Giants in London, birthplace of the greatest band of all time, Coldplay.
In my place, in my place were lines that I couldn’t change…

Agreed.
If the Pack D is as good as advertised, week 1 against the Queens should be a walk in the park for our beloved Pack. On paper, the Packers are superior matchup-wise. Theoretically, J-Alex should be more than capable of shutting down Jefferson. Ditto, Douglas/Stokes vs Theilen. Campbell, Q-Walk and Harrell’s favorite Yokozuna, Cletidus Clark, should form an impregnable wall against Cook. Doubs should have little problems catching daylight against the Queen’s milksop corners, assuming the over-the-hill Peterson lines up against the worst numero uno rock catcher in the league, Lazard. Jones and Dillon should be licking their chops at the opportunities to run at “Z.” Butte should be Butte.
Packers 72
Queens 0
I just wrote the official week 1 gameday thread. Sorry, y’all won’t get further reads on my miserable existence flipping burgers. :)

Loss at Minnesota week 1 due to slow start, and on the road
Loss at Buffalo
Loss the next week at Detroit because there is always a klunker game where the team really doesn't show up (as in New Orleans game last year).
That will be 2 losses in a row. Rodgers will go out and say R-E-L-A-X or "run the table" or something and they will only lose once the rest of the season and get the first week bye.

Barring significant injury issues i can see 14 wins. This starting roster has no big holes. WR is about the only weakness, and great QBs tend to cover that up.

Above average defense & running game, that should get to 10 wins alone.
With semi-competent special teams and hopefully 12 taking what's given, I like 13 wins.
Maybe.

I went with 12 wins, figuring early season bumps with the offensive line being so unsettled and the new receivers group. That, and some critical injury along the way, could spell five losses.
Joemailman
09-08-2022, 11:31 AM
How spoiled/lucky are we as a fan base? Don't know what out starting offensive line will be, lost our 2 most talented wide receivers, and most of us are predicting 12 or 13 wins.
texaspackerbacker

Yes, we are. As I've said, though, many times, with Aaron Rodgers at QB, O Line mediocrity has never been a problem, and it won't be this season. I only hope whoever we have there, especially in the interior, does the job on run blocking.
Based on talent, I say again, the Packers shouldn't lose to anybody. I've got them slipping up twice - 15-2. IMO, 2 better (17-0) is more likely than 2 or more worse (< 13-4).
R E L A X everybody, Aaron Rodgers has things under control.
I'm thinking 15 wins. But injuries can change things... so you never know. You play the Bills and the Rams. The Bills looked pretty stout tonight against the Rams. 31-10, and if the Bills had taken care of the ball better they could have hung a 50-burger on the Rams. But for the 1st game of the season, I guess you expect to see some of the rough plays and miscues. Stafford was Stafford, throwing 3 picks.

You know, living in Detroit as I do, I always liked Stafford as a person. He really does seem like a decent guy. And he's got the arm strength, can make some incredible throws. But he just isn't the vocal type of leader that most fans and probably coaches want. He's more laid back. And he does throw an awful lot of picks. An awful lot. I don't think he's an elite QB at all. He's a good QB but man, he throws way too many picks.

Shit, the worst losses was 7 on the poll and we are already halfway to that. Can we have the option to flip our numbers? I said 11-6 so I would get 6-11. More likely at this point.

Packers have 8 games left. 6 of those games are either against teams with winning records, or on the road. (Or both). Not a lot of likely wins with the way they are playing. Most likely wins are home games vs Rams and Lions.

I'm a fair weather fan. It's been fair weather for 31 years.
Enjoyed the convo. I don't think there is much to talk about anymore esp with injuries piling up. Majik, Favre, AR gave us a long stretch of fun years.
I don't see them returning. I'll be watching the pack as long as AR is there: but, different expectations. Not much to talk about.

Coldplay is the band for racist white millenials who have no taste in music.
Country music is racist. Every track is about a F150-driving redneck chasing after a blond-haired, blue-eyes chick. You know, there are Black and Asian chicks in the south, right?
I used to think Metal is racist, but then Black and Asian metal bands started popping up, so maybe it ain’t so racist after all. Regardless, metal seems like it is just a bunch of loud noises, although Rage Against the Machine ain’t too bad.
Rap hasn’t been racist since Black folks started embracing ‘Em.
Pop, everyone listens to it, even those who hate it.
Coldplay, now that’s the sound of music. It is the solution of all genres and more. And no fucking way Coldplay is racist. Viva La Vida is influenced by African music. Everyday life is influenced by Middle Eastern music. Coldplay collaborated with Rihanna, Beyoncé, Selena Gomez, BTS, among others. Coldplay is for sophisticated millennials of all walks of life!
