Painful hearing announcers talk about how great Micah Hyde is.

Josh Allen developed into a hell of a player. He looked kinda lost a couple years ago.

So you are predicting that he doesn't lead the league in picks this year like he did last year?

I didn’t realize he had a lingering elbow injury on his throwing arm. Scratch that MVP prediction.

I liked his chances of playing better in the second year of the offense and cleaning ip some of those picks tho.

Bills defense, at least the pass rush, is pretty damn formidable.

Well....it seems he is likely to be leading after week 1

It's better for the Packers that the AFC team won. That's all I really care about.

Matt Stafford is not a viable MVP candidate. If he somehow becomes one this year it will be because Cooper Kupp drags his corpse into consideration.

The Packers tried to play Mr. Hyde at the “star” position the way they played C-Wood. Problem is, Mr. Hyde wasn’t C-Wood. Wasn’t even a poor man’s C-Wood. Mr. Hyde was an abomination.

I, for one, am jolly Hyde ain’t donning the Green and Musta Yella anymore.

So I typed in the infamous Graham Mertz, a student at SudsMcBucky/Tex/Fosco/Bretsky/Cumby/TH’s alma mater, and now I’m able to gain access to the NFL Sunday Ticket streaming for $200. They’re giving me a one week free trial before they charge my debit card. I might cancel because I might quit burger flipping. Even if I don’t - or won’t - I’m usually too tired after flipping burgers all night to watch the “other games.” We’ll see.

Actually, I used a sibling’s name. He qualifies for streaming at a slightly higher price as a “previously enrolled student in the last 18 months.”

I have game pass for 100. Can watch all games after they’re over. Plus some other content. I get my 100 out of it.

I think you said you have a son who is attending UW-Green Bay. Pretty sure you can get Sunday Ticket for about $100, if you’re interested. All you pretty much need is his name and DOB.

I also plan to get GamePass (I think it’s now called NFL+).

Bears #9 Brisker looks completely lost on a crossing pattern by Aiyuk, screens his own teammate on a big gainer for the 49ers. I call him out and the very next play he recovers a fumble after Deebo drops a wet ball...

I'm actually rooting for the Bears today. They are no threat, and it would help to have a Niner loss.

Crazy thing about this week is no one has any film to game plan with. Most of the starters haven't seen the field for more than 5 minutes in preseason. Many not at all. There is little continuity among them. Yet everyone will overreact to what happens

Not that good. Polar Bear traded down instead of drafting that Wisconsin German.

On the bright side, we did get Kevin King for that draft pick :(

That's the trouble with running a JV offense, if you're Kyle Shanahan. If your opponent scores 20 or more you probably lose. We will see if they take the training wheels off next week or if they just intend to make every week a defensive struggle.

I'm kinda glad I'm not in any "pick'ems", as a lot of games I wouldn't have predicted are going the way I like to see even though not finished yet - Bears, Browns, Steelers, Dolphins, Falcons, Jaguars.

Edit: Wow, a lot of thrilling finishes - a couple of those I mentioned turned around, Browns down then back on top, Bengals choked on an extra point to force OT, etc.

Seems the 49ers either can't, or don't want to throw the ball downfield at all. Not sure if they don't trust the QB, or if the OL isn't good enough to provide enough time for deep plays to develop.

Russ doesnt look to hot. But I hope Hackett gets the dub and has a great run in Denver.

Aikman is a big step up for Monday Night Football. It’s watchable again.
