Our WR group is pretty pathetic. Rodgers hasn't been good. Only Jones and maybe Lazard have been good.
And yet here we are again, in the 4th quarter and Jones has 8 carries. To be fair, he also has 7 catches, but he's the best player on offense and they should keep feeding him.

Part of that reason is the offense can't sustain any drives. It's also one of the reasons the defense get worse as the game goes on.

According to various sources including Tom Pellisaro, ken Ingalls, Tom Silverstein, and Sportrac, the cap hit if Rodgers retires after this year is $40.3 million, after 2023 $68 million, and after 2024 $75 million due to bonuses spread out over the length of the contract and guaranteed money.

I honestly don’t think MLF knows what to do with the team at this point. He did lead us to two 13 win seasons in a row, but this team is falling apart all around him, and he can’t figure out how to fix the problems.
This may be the year the Packers take a step backwards, but you learn a lot about people when things turn bad. It will be interesting to see if he can make the hard decisions even if the results are not immediately evident.

It's not nearly that bad. His cap hit is 28M, or 13.25%. Still, Rodgers and Bakhtiari combined have a cap hit of 42M for not a lot of production. Next year it goes up to 60M.
