Last meeting: January 9, 2022. Lions defeated Packers 37-30. Packers pulled most starters before or at halftime. Before that game, Packers had won last 5 meetings.

Jared Goff has thrown for 1904 yards with 12 TD's and 6 INT's. Jamaal Williams leads Lions with 464 yards rushing and 8 TD's. DeAndre Swift missed 3 games with an injury but is back now. T.J. Hockenson leads Lions with 395 receiving yards. Rookie Aiden Hutchinson leads Lions with 4.5 sacks.

What are the gambling numbers. The Packers season as a whole is fucked. Motherfuckers ain’t gonna win no stinking Super Bowl. Might as well tank for a Wu-Tang rock catcher.

All I give a fuck about now is making frogskins gambling. I will put frogskins on the Lions and root for the Packers to lose if the lines are good.

Packers on the money line parlay the over. Crap defenses and I think we can run on them.

But the Pack offense, with all due respect, is more impotent than you without viagra. The last time the Packers O scored more than 20 points, we all were “young and full of life and full of love.”

And, btw, running the rock, even successfully running the rock, does not score a tons of points in the NFL. All it does is milk the fucking clock. Clock milking = low scoring.

Everyone told me we are now entering the tough part of the schedule and that playing the winning record VIkes, Jets, Giants and the .500 patriots and Commanders was the easy part. Turns out the Bucs and Bears were the only losing team we played so far.....and we did beat them both.

My point is that perceptions are often wrong. The teams we played are better than advertised.

Detroit is a great place to get right and gain some confidence. They are really bad on D so far. And I just can't buy into Jared Goff. We need a good effort on both sides of the ball in this one so we have a few things we can count on heading back home to beat fat mikes ass.

Rodgers says play other guys and Toure came up big. Get that kid some snaps. I both defend and criticize Rodgers plenty, but one thing I will say. If he wants certain WR on the field that is one area he probably should have a say.

Packers -3.5

Over/under 49

Moneyline Packers -175, Lions +150

Lions have scored 35, 36, 45 and 27 points at home. 24, 0, and 6 on the road. Their defense is bad wherever they play. Bet the over.

I am thinking about betting the under. Lions D might suck, but Packers O would not be able score if it was in a brothel with limitless frogskins. Plus, Packers D is good for one half a game.

Tentative bet: Packers ML + Under. How much depends on how I do at the poker tables.

Well, the Packer defense doesn't have to worry about TJ Hockenson now.

AR just said on the McAffee show that Toure was a receiver he thought deserved more play time based on preseason and practice. He was very happy for him Sunday (and obviously pumping him up and voicing his opinion on play time). ..... on another note, he said he and MLF are actually closer this year than any other, and the team is still united. So, that's good. He thought too that the team was really energized for the first time against the Bills (which I noticed esp second half). So, if they get healthy (as he too noted), they could come together second half. i still have doubts about J.B.

J.B.? James Brown?

Packers release RB Patrick Taylor and LB Kobe Jones. Releasing Taylor probably means Kylin Hill is ready to be activated off of PUP. Kobe Jones played last week. Wonder if he was that bad, or does it mean maybe that Campbell's injury isn't very bad.

Those are my initials. Apparently I haven't earned Jaire's trust yet.

Good to hear that. I don't think the team is falling apart internally. Fans are rarely representative of a locker room.

Fox Single - Most of Wisconsin, and almost all of Michigan will get Packers at Lions. Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen with the call. Northwest Wisconsin and almost all of Minnesota will get Vikings at Washington. Chris Myers and Mark Schlereth with the call. Most of the west, including Alaska will get Seattle at Arizona. Adam Amin and Daryl Johnston with the call.

I am sorry to report that I foresee a Packer loss in Detroit.

That Lion offensive line is actually good, and so the Loins will be able to run and run and run the ball. The receiver in the St Brown family who is actually good - Amon Ra - will make some key catches, and Goff will do enough because he'll have time to throw.

Meanwhile, Christian Watson gets hurt on about the seventh play of the game, and Arod spends so much time rolling his eyes that his eyeballs hurt the next day.

27 - 20, Loins.

I'd put more value on how LaFleaur reacts when asked about AROD's comments about the offense than I place on what he says through his tool

Yes, the Lions O Line actually is good, and Goff probably isn't as bad as the reputation he's gotten. Their RBs aren't great, but I still expect them to run all over Barry's D. On the good news side, though, I thiink the Packers offense figured out a few things the second half against the Bills, and I'm expecting a big game from Rodgers et al against the Lions. So I expect a high scoring game where the Packers come out ahead.

If they lose this one, the season pretty much is down the drain, as the next three games are Cowboys, Titans, and Eagles. Even if the Packers snap out of this funk, winning all three of those will be tough.

I can't figure out exactly where we were discussing Gutes picks and the epic failure of DeGuera, but this is a nice little article.

https://packerswire.usatoday.com/2022/11/03/packers-film-room-josiah-deguara-excels-in-expanded-role-against-bills/

I admit I didn't notice how effective he was, but I believe it. Lets stop calling him a TE and go with FB. Drafted in the same round as william Henderson I think(??)

If he turns into an effective blocking guy who catches a few passes I'll be cool with the pick. If he plays 17 years or whatever Mercedes is at I'll be thrilled.

ONLY a GUTEBAG would draft a fullback in round 3 in today's game :)))

Love the quote Joe.

I'd like to see Watson used to stretch the field a few times. Run the ball a ton though.

He seems to struggle in the third round so he might as well take a fullback

Kris Barnes signed to active 53 man roster. They had an open spot so no other move required.
