Reasons to watch this game:
1. Packers playoff is still technically possible. It’s why we all play the PowerBall, right?
2. Aaron Rodgers - he owns the bears. You all can piss and bitch about him - but will look back on the last 15 years of watching greatness. It’s one more chance to watch bears fans cry.
3. The all time winningest franchise - it’d be the first time someone other than the bears can make that claim

Do I wish we were out of the playoffs? Fuck no. Do we need 100 things to go right to run the table and get in? Obviously. But as long as there’s meaningful football we should cheer for victory.

Packers 30
bears 17

It’s a rout from the start.

Can be hard to predict these late season games where both teams are out of contention. My guess is Bears will treat this game as their Super Bowl, especially after Rodgers' comment last year. Still the Packers should be able to roll offensively if Tom can do the job at LT.

Reasons I'm watching this game--my 3 words themes

This season is OVER; my emotions are shut down at this point

1. EMBRACE THE TANK. GB currently has the 9th pick in the draft. Got to the 5 area and we could be lined up to get our next Hall of Fame Quarterback. Not all of the top teams in the draft will need a QB; perhaps we do.

2. THE GREATER GOOD: Listen to Matt LaFleur and Jo Barry. Matt is friends with this clown. Matty wasn't friends with our ST's coach when we screamed of incompetence there. Matty defended Barry in interviews last week. They interviewed Barry on if he has regrets on some of his calls and he sounded 2x as incompetent as he is gameday. LaFleur isn't going anywhere. And the Green Bay Packer's aren't going anywhere with Joe Barry as coach. For the greater good of the GB Packers, it's perfectly OK for Justin Fields, and the Bears RB's to go off on us today. THE GREATER GOOD.

3. GIMME SOME LOVE: I defended Sharon for quite a while this year. Year after year after year I was the clown who said Aaron Rodgers gets us an automatic 9-10 wins a year by making everybody better. And I still think he did to a point, just not as much as I thought. I'm also pretty well known for saying that using a 1st round pick, AND, a 4th round pick to move up for Jordan Love was a shit job but GUTEBAG. Still think that. Tee Higgins anyone ? But with all that being said, I'd like to see this kid play. Aaron becoming Sharon has soured me on the drama queen who is 10x smarter than any of us in here. What is Green Bay's worst nightmare ? Love going elsewhere, and turning into a very good NFL quarterback, after we let him go out the door without looking at him enough in NFL games. Let's end this FRAUD of a season where we are not mathematically eliminated, probably. GIMME SOME LOVE

I'm fine with Rodgers playing now. Since one of Rodgers or Love will be the Packers starting QB next year, I think there's value in having both of them working with the young receivers in game conditions.

Beat the damn Bears. There's plenty of time for Love to play this year.

This is the GREEN BAY PACKERS. No way in hell they're gonna tank. You oughta be ashamed of yourself for even suggesting that. And the Bears are so bad we probably couldn't lose to them even if we tried.

Reasons to not watch this game:
1. It is not on tv in my area.
2. I’m not going to waste $50 on beer and wings at a sports bar to watch two crappy teams play.
3. We should be playing Love not AR.

This is a hard pass for me. I’m out.

yes

Watson will probably never have Moss' control but he does seem more dedicated to developing his craft. Doubs, Toure, and Watson are all three in that house. We can only say that the ceiling is very high for Watson at this point and that he is def the fastest WR in the league right now: high floor, high ceiling. A very promising young room at WR.

And Watson is playing very well right now even though he has so many areas he can improve on.

@NextGenStats

Christian Watson reached a top speed of 20.97 mph on his 63-yard TD reception, the fastest speed by a Packers' ball carrier this season.

Watson has reached 20+ mph on 12 plays from scrimmage this season, trailing only Tyreek Hill (18).
Ross Uglem

Tyreek Hill snaps: 491

Yeah I guess I would say is that I don't have the data to support it but we all know he's really damn fast so who cares. He looks like he could become really good. I am very encouraged about his future at this point.

In the latter years was Calvin Johnson still known for his speed? He was very fast when he ran the 40 but I don't recall anyone thinking he was a speedster in the NFL. He was moreso just a giant with insane body control according to my recollection. Anyone think Watson's eventual comp is a poor man's Calvin given the size and long stride similarities? I sincerely doubt he becomes Calvin but it'll be interesting to see if Watson remains predominantly a deep threat or almost like a very fast tight end like Calvin. Also, please correct me if I am doing Calvin dirty.
