Packers win. Rodgers gets his first 300 yard game of the year+ Doubs and Watson give us a glimpse of the future and it is bright.

Well, if nothing else the Packers just got taller.

I can’t remember the last time a Packers MNF game meant so little to me.

Nobody is talking about the Packer games right now. All the talk is about whether Rodgers or Love will be the QB next year and who will be the DC next year.

I'm excited for the game. We should have a good idea by game time whether it's worth it to play ARod or not.

I'm also excited to see Doubs and Watson together on the field. That hasn't happened much yet.

It will be interesting to see how they divide the reps at WR with all the WR's healthy. Also, supposed to be about 10 degrees at game time.

The season is hanging by a thread - obviously why this game is important. The Rams season has been even shittier than the Packers. They just might be ready to tank things - as I'm fairly sure the Packers are not.

If the lambs pull the upset and knocked Packers out how do you proceed?

The organization fucked up by not trading Rodgers last offseason. It was understandable that they didn't, but it was, as we see now, a mistake.

So if they lose to the Rams, it's time to address the future - and that means playing Jordan Love. They've got to know if he's the answer. If he is, you trade Rodgers after next June 1 for whatever you can get. If he's not, then you trade Rodgers anyway and start over completely.

We should all be talking about SF punking seattle with a 3rd string QB

LOL
I expect SF to win, even with Purdy at QB and no Deebo. Shanahan is sharp enough to game plan ways to exploit an inconsistent SEA defense, and they can lean on the run game along with CMC, Kittle and Aiyuk in the pass game. Plus the SF defense is the best in the league.

And this is what I, in my foolishness, thought would be the Green Bay defense this year. The talent they have on that side of the ball is pretty good - okay, maybe they need one more D-lineman - but they've got lots of talent. Joe Barely got the least out of the most.

It’s the youth factor. Hitting those “Purdy” passes to that methed out TE.

Packers about as healthy as you could hope for this late in the year.

Well, not on defense. We lost our 2nd best cover man and our best pass rusher for the year. But the OLine finally looks serviceable and damn I hope Doubs and Watson can play an entire game together.

Packers gonna let Mayfield build his resume on them. If he outplays Rodgers in the first half shows us some Love in the second.

texaspackerbacker

Or maybe Mayfield stinks it up so bad that the Rams consider trading for Love instead of drafting a QB. Their second rounder would be almost as good to get as a first rounder.

Why would they do that when they still have Stafford under contract next year?

What’s better?

1. Put $100 on the Packers at -7 for a chance to win a puny $90.

Or

Buy a couple of $40 tickets to this game and brave the Siberia-like coldness while sitting on uncomfortable bleachers?

Coulda done both had I not pissed away $400 more at poker the other day. Fuck the NFL for putting games on Saturdays. Hadn’t played a hand in 3 weeks. The NFL lured me to get a poker seat when I went to casino Saturday morning to put frogskins on the Queens, Hillbillies and Bitches (Browns), parlay. Poker room opens Wednesday through Saturday, and one has got to be on an Oneida property to bet on jocks. To add insult to my gambling woes, the Queens and Hillibilles failed to cover the fucking spread!

Anyways, can’t find a hot chick to go with me to the game. Might be too late to go to GB to print out a wagering ticket now; traffic on game day in Green Bay is as bad traffic in Washington, DC on any day.

Watching the Packers play a quasi-preseason game on the tube without frogskins on the line is duller than Tony O’Day.
