Aaron Jones - 111 rushing yards

Nixon - Kickoff return for TD

Tonyan - 3 catches, 52 yards, TD

Savage - Pick 6

Defense - 3 INT's, 4 turnovers overall.

Jaire - Totally got into Jefferson's head.

If the Packers get to the playoffs they go in mostly healthy with 5 wins in a row. They’re a contender in the NFC.

Literally the only bad news is that SF is gonna end our postseason aspirations very early. Matches are everything and they own us.

I'd LOOOOVE for us to play Minnesota again but the Stidham INT and return ended those dreams.

Happy that this team has fought to control their own destiny after doing EVERYTHING in their power to lose it for 12 weeks.

Hell of a game, Hell of a win! Not a perfect game, but Damn! I've missed watching the Packers play games like this!

If they take care of Detroit, anything can happen in the playoffs. As the great poker player Doyle Brunson said, "All I need is a chip and a chair."

Aaron Jones is the best player in the NFL and the Packers will continue to win games or stay close when they give him 20+ touches

He’s good, and they’re better giving him the ball. But it’s not that cut and dry or simple.

Quay Walker is the most physical back 7 player we’ve had in a long time.

There is not a more explosively accelerant player than AJO. He is scary good. Every time he has the ball he looks the fastest, quickest dude on the field.

Nick Chubb and Josh Jacobs are pretty good. Mixon and Henry. CMC. Jones is in the conversation. He’s special, I agree.

I’m glad they never stopped working on the passing game. They could have just handed it to Jones and Dillon and done pretty well. But they’re so much more dangerous if they get the passing game going too. Now, going into the post season, that work on the passing game is paying off.

The Vikings are 12-4. They’ve scored 395 points and given up 414 for a -19 point differential. Has that ever happened?

they said during the game (romo), that rodgers told him that jones has been pretty banged up the last month

if we haven't even seen healthy aaron jones yet, thats scary

we just need to let him win us games. like someone else aid, no need to keep trying the low % deep ball over and over again. we are able to win other ways

They play the Bears next week. That might help.

The deep shots are really important. It stops teams from playing the run aggressively in shorter yardage situations. When they do convert 4 yards on a second and 3 run, a part of why they convert is because teams have to cover the whole field.

You can’t look at it as just a result, a failed bomb. It has other affects down the road. The threat of doing it.

i agree it works to take the shot a couple times to get defenses back

but why is he doing it in the 4th quarter when we're up 3 scores if its not for ego?

something stuck out the coach matty said in his half time interview, i think it was last week or the week before. he said "its almost like they don't respect our passing game", or something close to that.

yeah coach, maybe they don't . maybe you should think about that and try and figure out why teams might no longer be scared of our passing game

That's a good video. You can really see the one Viking defender leave the middle lane and go to the pile on the left where Nixon looked like he was heading. With a couple of good blocks on the right a huge hole is opened up with just the kicker to beat.

Players have been thrown out for far less physical contact. This asshole basically hammered down on the ref with his helmet while on the field where he’s not supposed to be taking it off. Him and you should be suspended a game or two.

I really do think the Packers had a very challenging early season when they were figuring things out. 10 and 6 maybe feels too low for how the team is playing now, although I recognize I am a prisoner of the moment and Tua was going ham last week before the injury. It'll be interesting to see - I still think the Dolphins with a healthy Tua are a threat in the AFC so they are likely another club who's better than their record.

He was off the field when his helmet was off (at least when he contacted the ref). I'm guessing he will get a fine as it wasn't intentional, but he was having a fit a the time.

I very much doubt it. The ref barely even noticed, and it obviously wasn't intentional. If he missed their Bears game, it wouldn't be a big deal anyway.

Watch 83 for the Vikings on the broadcast leave his lane -- he shouldn't have done that and I have no idea why he did -- but that left a big lane open for Nixon to run through (with good blocking by Garvin and Taylor) and it was dodging the K and off to the races.

Holding the Vikes to 3 after the blocked punt and then the KOR TD was a pivotal moment in the game. I can only imagine how loud the stadium was.

Yep, that goal line stand followed by the KO return was an 11 point swing. Vikings never recovered. Don't know how the Vikings will respond, but yesterday they justified everything their critics had ben saying about them.

I know I've said the Vikes have been lucky etc. (they have) but they are a good team.
Their luck seemed to run out yesterday, ricocheted passes turned into picks, missed FGs, all kinds of weird. They are closer to a 10 win team.

I'm curious where this version of the Packers team has been all year. The offense sputtered at times and the blocked punt can't happen but overall this was probably the closest thing to a complete game they've played all season. They were playing with more intensity since 2nd half of MIA game -- you can literally see it. They need to keep improving in all phases and they will be dangerous.

I’m now with Tex regarding #6. Dildo should probably be cut. Special teams is supposed to be his forte. He’s a terrible personal protector on the punt team. Bobble will tell you he’s only allowed two blocked punts. But that 2 too much.

Dallin Leavitt has been a mixed bag. I guess he's the heart and soul of the special teams and the captain who gets them organized, so he has some value. I wonder if he's worth keeping after this year though -- you can't play him on defense and they also have Rudy Ford. Their safeties room is a mess.

He got absolutely bowled over in an avalanche of Viking rushers, so I'd put that on the line more than him, but that blocked punt was ugly all around. At least he had the presence of mind to track the punt down, something last year's team lacked against SF.

The block is on Coco. He got beat immediately. #6 had to try to block two guys.

I’m a big fan of the four special teams additions. Ford, Nixon, leavitt and the punter/holder. Best special teams we’ve had in a long time. The coach helps too.

That's like saying your dog is doing better because he vomited outside in your lawn instead of in the family room.

The one plus is the kick return seems to be fixed and the only reason that happen is because the player you were playing all season at the postion fumbled so many times they had to cut him.
