How crazy if Green Bay made the playoffs and Philly somehow dropped to the #5 seed. Both would’ve seemed nearly impossible 3-4 weeks ago.

The extra week give teams a bit more chance, in both directions.

Yeah.

It keeps more teams in the hunt for longer.

More meaningful games late into the season.

I didn't like the idea, initially, but the entertainment value for the fans is boosted, so there's that.

The extra wildcard spot makes a difference too hahahahaha.Yes and I agree it has been a good thing. I also like how the 1 o my gets the bye. Makes it that much more coveted.
