Damn Bucfuckneers, playing their scrubs.

Tex-asses doing their best to give da Rears the #1 overall pick.

Eh, when you’re as shitty as the Texans and the Bears, does it really matter if you have the #1 or 2???

If the Bears like Fields then they can sell it for a ransom.

Watching the Seahawks game. No one is going to fear them in the playoffs. It's better if the Packers or Lions get in, so as a football fan, it's best if the Seahawks lose. If they win, the Packers fan in me is pretty happy.

I have a couple good bears fans I follow on Twitter. This is what they hope for.

But if a better QB prospect falls in your lap, it’s hard to pass up. Shit, look at both of them and whoever rises to the top, you keep. It’s a great problem to have no matter how they do it.

Bryce Young is an elite prospect. I’d rather draft the QB and have him and fields compete. You don’t pass up on a possible HOF QB talent because you like Justin Fields. Fields hasn’t done enough to pass up Young.

I think the Bears have a good thing in Fields.

They are going to be in a strong position with that #1.

I actually am rooting for the Rams. I don't like Seattle, first, and secondly I think the Loins will play better - looser - if they have nothing to lose.

I will say this: the Packers better be ready. The Loins play hard and they hit hard.

It can be the difference between Payton Manning and Ryan Leaf. Or Troy Aikman and Tony Mandarich.

yup how stupid. I still remember when GB won the last game and I think 2 of the last three, which lined themselves up to get the incredible bust, as opposed to Troy Aikman.

I know some Bears fans; this was their dream....packaging the 1st and moving down about 10 slots and getting an extra couple first rounders and loading up.

Fields throws a good ball; some in Chicago think he is going to be elite. The bears are going to let the bidding begin for that draft pick

I know what Bears fans think. Fields threw for 2,000 yards in a full season. I’m not sold on him. But the front office knows more. They have options. But there’s no way I pass up on a better QB if he’s there.

Even if they don’t, the sentiment remains the same.
Depends on how much savvy Ryan Polce has.
From what I’ve discerned living in Bears land, a bunch.

As just previously opined, Ryan Polce seems pretty savvy

Yup, the last of Papa Bears offspring

Soon the whole thing goes into disarray

I’m not totally dialed in, but the Bears have some sort of dispensation from the NFL ownership rules regarding whom can own what percentage of a team

The Bears ownership family are living off the Bears. Nobody has meaningful employment

They better not, there is already one too many exceptions to the strict ownership rules. :-D

Kind of disturbing that people will go their entire lives without contributing anything of value to the rest of humanity, just because they don't have to.

I guess with that standard by owning the Bears she employs lots of people including the guys who wrap the burritos on game day and all the other stuff.

I'm not taking a shot specifically at Virginia McCaskey. I have no clue how much she has done with her life, I was speaking to the random family members floating on Bears money.

To your point, yes the Bears existing does contribute to humanity. Someone or some people have to run the business. Those people are contributing. People just getting Bears family money aren't contributing, or at least they appear to be non-contributory.

Fair enough Smuggler. No idea on the the family nor do I care. Man, you guys have a helluva game tonight. Should be fun although I have to work super early so may not see it all.

Seahawks got a 2nd chance on the penalty on the punter. Take it down w/ goal to go and settle for the FG w/ Rams having the ball and timeouts.

so you can never ever touch a QB

if a player can't hit a QB in that situation, then it should also be a 15 yard penalty when a qb fakes going out of bounds and then keeps running

I dislike Ramsey as much as the next guy, but that's absolutely horse shit. Why is it Ramsey's job to watch the sideline and not Geno's job? Geno ran right toward Ramsey. Should have been a non-foul.

To be fair, Mark Davis basically inherited the team and that's where the Davis money is. AFAIK they don't really own any/many other meaningful businesses. Owning the team is what makes him rich.

Yeah but Mark Davis also serves in a leadership role with the team and is involved in the league. Maybe he could be more, but that's a non zero contribution.
