Bengals Eagles in the Superb Owl

Fuck the Balding Eagles and their racist Italian fans! The only team I hate more than the Balding Eagles is the fucking Queens.

69ers-Chefs Super Bowl. Putting frogskins on the 69ers to win the NFC and SB. Can’t stand Kittle, cos, he looks like a redneck straight outta a trailer park in New London, WI, but am rooting for the poor man’s Kurt Warner, Pundy, err, Puddy, err, Purdy.

Just watched the first 3 minutes of the NFL’s 16 minutes 69ers-Balding Eagles preview.

Tony Fucking ODay! The Balding Eagles’ head coach, an Italian, I think, is arrogant as fuck. Just another reason to root against the Balding Eagles. As for Shanahan, that prodigal son grew up privileged and shit. He has every reason to act arrogant. Yet, he continues to play it cool and humble.

Can’t stand Jerry Rice, John Lynch and George Kittle, but fuck, go 69ers go!

Kittle is the toughest offensive skill player I’ve gotten to see. If he stays healthy, he’s a HOFer. If you don’t like watching Kittle play ball, you’re not a fan of football. The redneck factor just makes him all the more endearing.

Damn Italians and Jews, always fucking everyone up. No, just trolling no one in particular.

The Packers are not playing, Butte is leaving, 40 and still flipping burgers, still without wife and offspring. Let’s just say that I ain’t jolly. And I tend to troll when I ain’t jolly to try to make myself feel better. It ain’t working.

Concur with you regarding the Balding Eagles. Hope they get killed, figuratively, of course.

I think tunderdan mentioned something about Kittle being the son of a college professor turned preacher. Not sure if Kittle is an actual redneck but he sure as fuck looks like one.

Kittle has mad kung fu, but I prefer the hip hop looking, Black chicks digging, Travis Kelce over Kittle. :)

All I know is I wish the Packers had one of those TE Specimen types to threaten the middle of the field.

I think Tonyan was that guy before he got hurt, but that injury seems to have robbed him of that speed. He seems to be a better blocker than he was, and he still has sure hands, but he seems to have lost that speed. A shame. I thought he was going to be pretty special.

I'm still holding out a sliver of hope. I thought he was running better the last 2-3 games. Before that I had a hard time telling him from Deguara. So I'm hoping an offseason of conditioning will help him regain his speed more than an offseason of rehabbing from an ACL did.

Point spread on Chiefs/Bengals has been changing probably because of Mahomes injury. Chiefs now favored by 1.5.

Going to be fun day of football. 2 of the best Ds in the game, with very physical styles in the NFC and imo the best 2 QBs in the game in the AFC. Philly surprised me with the thumping they put on the Giants. I thought it would be closer. I think the game is almost dead even (thus home team getting 2.5). As for betting it? I usually ride the better QB, but in this case the slightly better D and much better coach is on the other side. Screw it, just give me under 45.5

I'm surprised the Bengals are favored in this one, but I think its the right call. This game is a mess though. Bengals OL is banged up, and Maholmes is banged up. Both teams D is somewhat under rated though. I think the public likes the over in this game, but I'm going contrarian and betting the under. In this case KC has homefield and a much better coach. But man I'm a fan of the modern day Joe cool. He is almost Peyton Manning like, but with better weapons and not having to play the patriots (who were allowed to hold and interfere with receivers for a decade without getting flagged). I'm just betting both unders I think. I'll be cheering for SF and Cincinatti though.

Injury updates:
-- #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) has no injury designation and is good to go.
-- #Eagles CB Avonte Maddox (toe) has no designation and will play.
-- #Chiefs TE Travis Kelce is listed as questionable with a back injury, but participated fully in practice.

Chiefs, Eagles…although I’m rooting for a Bengals Niners rematch.

Leaning under on SF/PHI, but going with the over on CIN/KC. Evenly matched teams with a lot on the line. I don’t think the injury hampers Mahomes much as a passer, and Reid will have a game plan for it. I expect a shootout in KC.

So did Mahomes not actually get an ankle sprain or what is the deal with that? If he’s not even on the injury report give me KC and Philly although I am rooting for Joe Cool and Cincy. It is mind boggling he didn’t get a chance at OSU. He is going to be so damn good when all is said and done.

what a horrible game

i don't care how fox tries to spin it (best defense they've met all year)

Yeah, I was imagining what his teammates were saying to comfort him after that - "hey, no, you're not a pussy, no way!"

I think the refs tossed him to help him save face.

That was actually pretty funny. He got picked up and thrown down.

Tom Pelissero
@TomPelissero

#49ers QB Brock Purdy suffered a complete tear of the UCL in his throwing elbow and will undergo surgery, per sources.

Purdy is getting second opinions, but the initial hope is he can undergo a repair — not reconstruction (AKA Tommy John) — and will be ready for training camp.

49ers QB's should get hazard pay.

That will be an interesting situation for SF to sort out. I imagine Garapalo is gone. I don't think he was well-liked? And they have two young QB's.

But which one is the starter of the future? I've heard that they're not as happy with Lance as they'd hoped to be.
