400k would be a nice bankroll for 1-3. Would definitely allow me to utilize game theory optimal (GTO) against the fish. If a fish cracks my AA with 10-7off, I will, like a stoic, simply rebuy and play the math and long-term game. With a 400K bankroll and mastery of GTO, the math favors me being a winning player in the long run.

As is, as a burger flipper now making $15/hr, I get tilted every time the fish crack my premium holdings, holdings that I played perfectly according to GTO. Consequently, I proceed to drain my puny saving account by punting away a shitload of frogskins “chasing losses” against the fish. Without a sumptuous bankroll, I lack the capital to truly utilize GTO.

After a week and half away from the tables, I am about to head back to casino this morning. Out of boredom, not b/c of gambling urges.

If you play 1-3 you need about a 5k bankroll if you are a superior player. That should allow you to not go broke. However if you are trying to live off poker you won't likely make enough money to do much more than eat/sleep and play poker.

Longtime burger flipper for minimum wage never gets pussy! All please donate for a trip to Las Vegas for a girlfriend experience on a Saturday night followed by Packers versus raiders thank you!
