FWIW, it looks like Packers would get the 6th seed with a win and Rams loss. In a 2 way tie with Rams they would have head to head tie-breaker. In a 3 way tie, they would have the strength of victory tiebreaker.

I like our chances as the 6 against Detroit. If Philly can win the east, I like our chances against Philly as a 7 too.

I don’t like a Dallas match up. We’re not a dominant running team, they’re too good as a passing offense and passing defense. Dallas is a horrible matchup. We’re 1 and done if that happens and that’s our most likely scenario.

Atlanta, New Orleans, and Tampa are all still in the running for the NFC South title!

Well look at us now!! Started the season with low to no expectations of this thread. Depending on the week Pack could be in or out. But rain or shine the mailman tirelessly delivered. The football gods took notice of his commitment and now it comes down to the last week. Let’s do this Joe!!

I wouldn't count on the 6th seed. The Rams are hot; The Niners I think are the top seed even if they lose; And McCaffrey is out. So a Rams win is a strong possibility.

“If the Packers beat the Bears to make the playoffs, they will be the youngest playoff team since the NFL went to a 16-game schedule in 1978.”

Rams are starting Carson Wentz instead of Stafford, No word yet on whether Purdy will play. So who knows what will happen in that game?

Wow, that speaks to a really bright future.

Personally I hope that MiLF is telling his players this is a playoff game. Not "win and you're in" but rather "Lose and go home". Its a subtle difference, but not insignificant.

I would like to think Pepe has been saying that since the Tampa loss.

Purdy and McCaffrey aren't starting, but same with the Rams. It will be the battle of the backups.

Starting quarterback Matthew Stafford, running back Kyren Williams, wide receiver Cooper Kupp, defensive tackle Aaron Donald and linebacker Ernest Jones will all be held out of the Rams' season finale. Quarterback Carson Wentz will start in place of Stafford, and quarterback Dresser Winn will be elevated from the practice squad to be Wentz's backup.

McVay said wideout Puka Nacua, who is just 29 yards shy of breaking the NFL's rookie receiving record, will play.

Hard to figure why the Rams are holding so many good players out. I guess they're in regardless, but they would be the 7th seed if they lose, 6th if they win. The way I read it, means playing the Cowboys instead of the Lions. Assuming the Packers beat the Bears, they have the same choices. In addition to Dallas being the better team of the two, I personally don't enjoy games where my favorite team plays against my second favorite.
