This loss was on the offense.

Defense played well.

Offense lost the game.

Shoulda just dump it off to Jones or throw it away.

You guys had a fucking great season. The old nutcase left, the new guy did ok.

ThunderDan

Fuck me, so many stupid plays that cost us the game.

Carlson with the missed FG, Savage with the dropped pick 6, Love’s stupid last throw. Terrible tackling by the D.

This was a way better season than I thought it would be. That said. I said getting rid of Crosby would bite them in the ass and it has.

Teamcheez1

Love was good for 3 qtrs.

Folded in the 4th qtr.

I'll be happy when Watson isn't on the team anymore. He's just not good and pretending he is encourages throws like that.

true

can't blame the D too much

although that pick 6 would have been nice

So we dropped 2 ints, 1 was likely for 6, missed an extra point and a fg, stalled out on 2 deep drives. All 3 phases share this loss,

But against the 1 seed after all that we only lost by 3.

ya; several of his passsed sucked in the 4th quarter. That one to Jones was a routine easy throw and he was about two yards behind him

I was thinking the entire play on the return that the defender running it back must be one of the dumbest people in California, which is Goddamn impressive.

Most good teams have a defense and a kicker they can lean on in games like this. With a young team someone/anyone in the GB front office/coaching staff should have figured there would be some close games. You know what wins close games? Clutch kickers.

Yeah we really dropped the ball and gave the game away to San Fran. Heartbreaking way to end the year, but a good year overall.

It wasn't getting rid of Crosby, it was replacing him with Carlson.

So did the Packers lose? I turned off TV after pick. Antenna’s gonna be collecting dust til September rolls around again.

Had those mofos on the ropes.

Definitely lost due to a few errors in all 3 phases. The dropped pics early would have been minimum 3 point, plus we missed 4 kicking points. And stalled drives.

Desperate love looks easy to shake.

Need to find another Jones asap

First year starting QB tightened up a little and thought he would play superman in the driving rain with less than a minute left in the game.

Rookie kicker with a rookie snapper screwed up a very makeable FG with 5 minutes left in the game.

Defense can't hold the lead after playing pretty well most of the game. What's new there?

Overall, a very entertaining game that should let the league know that the Packers look like a contender for the next few years.

If we are going to be good moving forward, we need a reliable kicker for the playoffs. I don't know how good or bad he was in college, but watching him this year, it wss easy to see this coming

Every year I complain about the defense all year long.

But in the end, it’s always the offense and special teams that cost us the game.

ThunderDan
01-20-2024, 10:29 PM
We should have won the game. We blew too many chances on O, D, special teams and the refs horrible spot.

Once Toms left the O faltered. We should have grabbed this victory.

There is a reason DBs are DBs and not WRs.

Yeah, the 4th and 1 spot, dropped pick, and the missed FG were all big plays that didn't go GBs way.
GB outplayed or at least was able to hold their own against a very good team and the top seed in the conference. That's not nothing, even though moral victories aren't much.

ThunderDan

What's even more horrible is replay didn't fix it.

You could not see where the ball was. So no replay would have been able to overturn it.
