Wow Joe, that was taking it too far even if it’s just Red. I’m glad you edited it.

I also think it's interesting to see how the game has changed.

It was definitely more violent then. Guys didn't step out of bounds; they bashed somebody on their way to getting knocked out of bounds.

It was cool to see Brent thread the needle a few times.

Thumbs up to Red.

I liked it Red. Only have time to watch like 5 minutes at a time, but I'm nothing if not an aging nostalgic fool.

i would have seen all those games on the TV when they were played, but i don't remember any plays from any of them, so its nice to actually watch them again

and that chanel seems to have a ton of old packer game

and i agree fritz, it was a totally different game back then

and yes mad, i figured it was a joke, but you can suck ass anyways

... and the game then was totally different than it was in the '60s. It has gotten continually more detailed, technical, athletic and skilled... and less physical and violent.

Funny how some of you are now getting to the point a few of us were at when we all "met" 20 years ago or so. :) You've seen first hand how the game evolves and changes as rules change and teams adapt. Schemes come and go, and then are "new" again thirty years later.

Imagine in twenty years . . . the game will be completely virtual. You'll have cables hard-wired into the players' heads, and they'll all sit in a room and envision, as quickly as they can, what's happening, and envision how they'd respond. They could use gestures to show how they'd move and respond to other movements. Nobody will touch anyone, and the physical part will be computer-generated imagery, broadcast to us all.
