I was pretty surprised by this

5. Jordan Love
4. Brock Purdy
3. Dak Prescott
2. Jared Goff
1. Matt Stafford

Executives, coaches and scouts around the NFL consider the Los Angeles Rams' Matthew Stafford the top NFC quarterback heading into the 2024 season, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

The surveyed league leaders ranked the Detroit Lions' Jared Goff at No. 2 in the conference, with the Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott, San Francisco 49ers' Brock Purdy and Green Bay Packers' Jordan Love rounding out the top five, Fowler said on ESPN's SportsCenter.

Fowler noted that Stafford and Goff topping the executive, coach and scout rankings indicate that these conference leaders use more than just statistics to value quarterbacks.

That’s exactly how I like it. Gives Love a list of who he needs to beat.

I don't think there's a GM in the NFL who would trade Love for any of those guys.

That's kinda pitiful if there's nobody better than Goff, Stafford, and Purdy, all of which are pretty much crap. I'll try and post a top five after looking up who else there is.

Hurt, Bryce Young, and Kyler Murray are all better than Goff, Stafford, and Purdy IMO.

My Five are: 1 Love 2 Hurt 3 Prescott 4 Murray 5. Young.

If Love puts together a full season this year like the last half of last year, there will be no question of who is the best. Now that the receivers know their asses from their elbows, it might be close to that, or even better.
