I believe the Packers are going to win the Super Bowl this year or next. The train has left the station. Let's do this thing. Hop on and LFG.
I think this because defenses almost always play better the first year or two under new coaching and a new system. I think the offense is legit and has a slew of playmakers on affordable contracts. I think Love is gonna be a pretty good player. The biggest key though is they have two game changing tight ends that are a match-up problem when paired with their weird-but-extremely-effective receiving group.
I expect them to win it all this year or next.

This season does feel a lot like 1996 and 2010. In both cases the team finished strong the year before and had a tough playoff loss on the road to end the season.

Aren’t you the dumbass that complained about Love’s new contract? But now you think he is going to win the SB??? Seems like you are just throwing shit at a wall seeing what can stick. Problem is you have diarrhea of the mouth so it’s all over the place.

What do you mean 'or'? This time of year, the most pessimistic you should be is saying 'and/or'.

There's a helluva lot of things that could go wrong i.e. luck/injuries, etc. between now and the finish line. But looking up and down the roster and around the league, I have to think the Packers are at very least one of the best and one of the favorites.

Nothing wrong with drinking a little preseason Kool-aid.

I don't think so. I did point out that it seems silly to applaud this contract while hating the ARod contract. People cost what they cost is my point. It's all good baby. They gonna win.

I’m just mad at his ass because he won’t come out to play. I think Partial, that fun kid we met long ago, died on a cold Wisconsin night (the Green wedding). Possibly when Eli beat Erin in the NFCN. What emerged was the thing that you see before us now. Partial would have said Super Bowl win by the beginning of the summer. This guy whoever he is falls short of the legend of the PackerRats bar brawler.

Maybe because Arod was on the way down and Love appears on the way up?
People cost what they are worth unless their daddy owns the place.

LOL, I could realistically see them falling this year as it takes even the best warriors a few times to get over the hump. We shall see. Maybe there come up short year was last year. I believe they are on a collision course with the Super Bowl though. I think Gutey thinks so too.

Pre season rankings are for losers. Just like scoreboard watching and prevent defense.

Actually I think Skinny is saying he is “happy” that Love and the Packers are trending upwards. As he has said before he is a brilliant guy and knew it all along.

If this defense plays the way I expect they are going to create a lot of blow outs. It was mind boggling that we drafted all the GA players then ran that milquetoast Barry defense. Watch what Wyatt does when he is asked to penetrate instead of hold the point. Watch Quay crush RBs when OL are trying to pinch a gap shooting Clark. The only thing that could have made me more optimistic is if we had drafted Payton Wilson who looked like Mike Singletary in the 1 game I watched so far.
The OL is still not where I would like them to be, but I'm optimistic that with a well designed offense they will keep Ds off balance enough. By midseason if Morgan has adjusted to being on the right side and playing inside look out. But I question the wisdom of taking a guy who played LT all through HS and D1 college and asking him to switch sides and positions. I know..."cross training". But its not always that simple. Some guys like Tom make it look easy. Most guys like TJ Lang struggle with it for a minute before it clicks.
