Kind of refreshing to see these from and about a player playing a position with more than its share of egomaniacs:

Of receivers with at least 40 run-blocking snaps this season, Watson has the third-highest PFF grade.

When asked about having zero targets last week:

"The motivation to win a football game is enough for me," said Watson. "I'm going to do whatever it takes to win a football game."

He got open a lot against the Titans—as in, there were plays when he was in a different zip code to any Colts defender—but he never complained. On one play, Malik Willis took off and ran instead of throwing it to him, and Watson sprinted downfield to make a block.

I also read he was the prime target, and was open, on the vomit play.

Not just a block, but ran that dude out of the end zone. Nice work.

One of the very few times in history an NFL receiver is glad not to have the ball thrown to him.

He’s a great fit for the offense due to his history in a run first offense in college. He’s going to do damage at times, but he’s probably never going to become someone who catches 100 balls or 12 TD in a season.

He’s had an uncanny knack for the end zone. 100 balls or 1200 yards seem tough. But 12 touchdowns….. I can see that for sure.

Agree RG, he has scored a lot of TDs in his career. He led the team in receiving yards vs. TEN I believe. He's a deep threat that teams have to be aware of, and he's better than MVS.
I don't think he's going to be Randy Moss 2.0 though.

I like his attitude and hope he can stay healthy this year. He's super talented.
