Studs
Romeo Doubs just made all the big catches all game when needed. He needs to smile because Lambeau loved him today.
McManus - Say whatever you want but this guy just kicked a game winner twice on his first game and never looked lost or shaky. He came in and saved the day. Hope he is having a beer with that overall wearing Packer Backer.
Overalls wearing Packer Backer - This guy needs his own real men of genius commercial after today’s performance. Not only did he stop a Texan player from desecrating Lambeau but then he gets the game winning shot celebrating with McManus. Awesome job!
Duds
Love - He did enough to win but may have done more to put the Packers in poor position all game. He needs to have a talking to at this point.

Eric Wilson 6 solo tackles, 4 TFLs and 2 sacks.

Studs
Romeo Doubs - Key catches all day to keep drives alive.
Eric Wilson - 2 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 1 pass defensed
Rashan Gary - 1 sack, 3 QB hits, pressure all day.
Daniel Whelan - Averaged 56.8 yards per punt, great hold on low snap on winning field goal.
Brandon McManus - Need I explain?
Duds
Jayden Reed - Just 10 yards receiving, terrible decision to return punt from goal line.
Keisean Nixon - Catch that damn punt!

Joemailman with the postgame coverage
Gotta go with Love a dud.
Those two interception throws looked as if he was possessed by the ghost of Favre past

I would put Josh Jacobs on the stud list.
12 carries for 76
5 receptions for 16 and a TD.
Really thought we should have fed him the rock more.

Agree w/ Joe - the hold on the gw fg was a good recovery.
Sloppy ST overall to that point outside of punting.

Dud
MLFs offensive game plan.
How do you run 5 WR end arounds and runs and one quick pass to Reed in the backfield which was ruled incomplete but probably was a backward pass.

I can't give a dud since he led game winning 2 minute drive. But I get it. A shaky day.

He's got to read the field much better. He's been a turnover machine, although he's also been a TD machine.

Totally agree here.
And another dud to Bitch Saccia, whose special teams cost the team dearly. And no, not much credit for the game winning kick - that goes to Guter for signing McGrindus.
Reed had a poor game.
Eric Wilson - had himself a game.
Doubs - did they rule that last one a catch? I was in a sports bar and of course they had the sound to the Detroit game, so I couldn't tell what the hell happened on that play. A catch? Not? And I thought I saw a flag thrown. Anybody care to explain what the hell happened there?
And hooray for McGrindus - but thank god there's no plane ride home for him to celebrate on.

McFuckgoggle? He is a journey man but all he has done since the fake games is ball out whenever he gets a chance. He deserves more snaps.

It was ruled a catch on the field. Packers let the clock run down to 3 seconds and called time out.

Obviously I agree with all the stud players mentioned, maybe add Evan Williams too, also Enagbare and Gary.
I'll add Hafley to that stud list too, abnd Gutekunst for pulling the plug on Narveson and bringing in McManus.

Just thought we could make that a bit more accurate.
whelan had one of the greatest punting games in team history according the the guys on the post game radio show

the refs were still discussing it has the clock was running down. packers then had to call a time out because the clock was still running while the refs were talking
first ref called it a catch, the a second ref ran up to him
when we came back after the time out we just went on like it was a catch all along
on the replay, he caught it, had it secured, made a couple of football moves and landed on his back and then the ball popped out. whole thing took a half second

And handling a low snap on the winning FG was just as important.

yeah, i totally missed that live
i was more worried about the ball that started at the left upright, then looked like it was gonna hook left but somehow straitened out

Should probably give some props to Jaire here. Diggs had 5 catches for 23 yards. Dell didn't have a catch. Lot of talk before and during this game. Jaire backed up his talk.

Love is the antithesis of Rodgers, taking a lot of risks. That being said, most of his risks are down the field with the potential for big rewards.
I'm okay with more risk, but a few of the throws were clear mistakes like the one to Reed into triple coverage that Reed still hauled in some how.

That snap on the winning FG was even worse than I thought. Not only low, but off target. Almost hits Whelan in the knee. https://x.com/i/status/1848374087128670519

I saw it live. I was motherfucking the longsnapper until Whelan placed it perfectly and it went through the uprights at which point I pretended I knew it was good all along.

Yup, me too. Everything looked perfect on the "practice kick" that didn't count, and my confidence skyrocketed. Then I watched the next snap, and my heart sank.

Yeah, and that second kick - it started close to the left upright, looked like it was going to blow or drift left, then seemed to straighten out.
Whew.
But for now, they have a kicker. Uncle McGrindus.

did the ball even get off the ground at any point?
good god thats bad
longsnapping can't be that hard. its not like kicking where the distance changes, the hash changes and theres wind. you put it in the same spot everytime
its like in golf. you aren't the guy hitting the drive, you aren't even the guy that puts the tee on the ball. you're the guy the wipes the shit off the ball with a towel in between holes
(and yes, i know in golf the same guy usually does all those things unless you have a caddie)

Thanks for posting - I watched the whole thing, and it really was educational and interesting.
It gave me a chance to focus a bit on the offensive line, too.
Rasheed Walker gets stood up and pushed back a lot. A lot. Pad level, baby! He really does need to work on that.
Zach Tom seems susceptible to an inside-out move, or to speed rushers. He gets beat around the edge a little.
Sean Rhyan looked pretty good in the snaps on film here. Jenkins was rock solid. Myers was okay, too.

I love his channel, it's really helped me with the X's and O's. I see the game better after watching his break-downs.
What a time to be alive.
