Got to casino late last night and saw the Racistio Italianos (Balding Eagles) at +120 ML down 4 at halftime vs the Redcoats.

Instead of putting 300 on the Italians, I put 30. Dumb, eh?

Some would say betting at all was dumb, and betting less was always going to be smarter than betting more.

Wise words.

But what fun is that?

But what fun is that?

None, and as a lifetime losing sports bettor I advocate doing it within the confines of your FU money. It adds a lot to the Monday and Thursday night games that don't involve packers.

Unlike Bobble, I dislike betting via the spread. But I am a mooch, according to my former nemesis, The Kentucky, so I need the following teams to not only win, but also cover their respective fucking spread - to win $215 off an $11 parlay bet:

1. Packers -3.5
2. Jesters -2.5
3. Mermen -5.5
4. Sheepfucks -4
5. Queens -4
6. 69ers -5.5

I'm on the Patriots today. Rams go cross country to play out of conference after that crushing loss last week. Average teams tend to faulter in these situations. Gimme the +4.5

Jets lose again.
Rodgers outplayed by Anthony Richardson.
He should be filing his retirement papers.

I would give all of your left testicles to have a defense like Pittsburgh's.

I hope he retires before it becomes obvious he has to retire because nobody wants him.

His contract runs through 2025. He is due $23.5M. Pocket change for a QB. Of course, he has like $35M in cap hit on 2 void years.

Joe Burrow is so GD good. There D may stink but Joe is good enough to make January interesting himself. I wouldn't bet against these dudes. Man, he is just electric. Best QB in the NFL. You heard me. At the very least, by far the most accurate.

Is this Rodgers last year? It just feels like it's time and his body isn't the same anymore. Hard to think of someone having a worse 4-5 years for their reputation. Beloved to Villain. Of course time he's all and he'll be back and loved like Bert.

Man the Patriots suck. I got about half back on the Steelers, but now I'm a afraid of tonights game. I want to take Dallas cuz Houston shouldn't be laying 7.5 to anyone. The out of conference thing doesn't quite apply though because this is a state rivalry. I'll end up betting it at game time.

The D stinks and the OL stinks. Joe and skill WRs are singlehandedly willing this team away from a top 10 pick. They need to pay a couple of FA OL just like us. Then draft 3 more. Then put 5 developmental guys on the PS. He is probably tied for best QB in the game yet his organization protects him like he's a rental while looking for a franchise QB.

I really like Burrow as a player, but, man, I think his career is going to be short. When he takes hits, he takes them hard, and he gets hit a LOT.

IDK what it is about the guy, a lack of kinesthetic awareness or what, but when he gets hit, he almost always hits the ground hard.

Burrow is a really good QB behind what has unfortunately been a really bad OL since he's been there. Agree the beating he takes will shorten his career, I think it already has (knee, hand injuries).

Jamaar Chase and Tee Higgins are pretty good receivers to have. From what I've seen of Jermaine Burton, I am not sad GB passed on drafting him.

Rodgers turns 41 next month. He says he wants to play in 2025. If he retires or is cut by the Jets, they'll carry a 49 million dead cap hit (could be split over 2025 & 2026 seasons - 14M & 35M).
Many Jets fans turned on him weeks ago, for the same reason GB fans used to complain.

I can't imagine another team would want him as their starter after seeing him play this year (and his last full year in GB). It's been almost 3 calendar years since he cracked 300 yards, his last year in GB was until this year his statistically worst. His arm is fine, but his brain is chemtrails and he can't escape the pocket anymore. He's a formerly great player on the decline who is polarizing at best and a toxic coach/team-killer at worst.

Woody Johnson (and Joe Douglas) made the bed they are in. Ol Woody thought Saleh was the problem and fired him, and they look even worse. Somehow, they were actually better last year with Zach Wilson.

If Rodgers doesn't come back, they'll do something stupid like poach Justin Fields from the Steelers and continue to ignore the OL problems they have. (Tyron Smith was a nice player 8 years ago, he's a shell of an LT now.)

Speaking of mediocre-to-bad QBs and iffy GM decisions in NY, how about the Giants? Lotta digital ink spilled about the NYG choosing Daniel Jones over Saquan being a bad mistake.

Everyone and their grandmother knew signing Daniel Jones to 4/160 was a joke. He's done in NY after this season, but might have a nice 2nd half of his career as a backup.

Also - holy cow is Mac Jones bad. I didn't realize his arm was that bad. I guess he managed to play well for Alabama while masking some deficiencies...having great skill position players helps.
