Didn’t we try a 70 yarder with Crosby about a decade+ ago and came up about a yard short?

Yup, and as I recall it was a somewhat cold day in GB, not the best for kicking, and the ball carried past the endline of the endzone, but just under the crossbar.

The first time I heard of this rule was when the Packers used it back in the late '60s, early '70s.

Texans standout WR Tank Dell, who suffered a knee injury while making an acrobatic TD catch, will stay overnight in Kansas City for further evaluation of a significant knee injury, coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters. He offered prayers for Dell, who has been so key for them.

Only 2 games today with teams with winning records playing each other.
Might as well get stuff done around the house before XMas.

Jalen Hurts out with a concussion.
I’ve been kind of waiting for this to happen. Not Hurts specifically, but a franchise qb to go into the concussion protocol. When a guy at the top of the salary food chain into that tent and comes out with the wrong answer. Rodgers and Daks injury are beyond question, but how does an owner react to a $60m player in fine physical health sitting at home?

The rams kicker also missed a XP. The announcers claimed the ball was super hard due to the temp.

What do you think of Darnold? Is this Case Keenum again, or is there something more there? He’s not getting much respect from the talking heads.

It will be interesting to see what kind of offers he gets. It's a weak draft for QB's, so he's in a good position.

Kind of, yea. I have a glass half empty view after so many years so it seems very Case like. Hope I'm wrong.

That doesn’t happen until after our QBs win one SuperBowl. Takes a decade or so but it’s worth the wait. Take my word for it man.

I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Anders Carlson isn't going to turn into one of those "Oh shit the Packers released him before he could develop into an All-World kicker" situations.
McManus has been rock solid this year. I wonder if they'll just sign him to a two-year deal or something after the season, or if they'll try to draft someone. I don't know how big of a leg McManus has, but he has been pretty damn accurate.

I'll be very surprised if they don't sign him to an extension. I don't think they want to go the rookie kicker route again. He's not great from 50+ but he's almost automatic under 50.
