The football gods really hate me this year. This is a Catch 22. I didn't want either team to make it. However, since one of them has to win, my money is on the Eagles. They should be able to stop the run, which Buffalo couldn't do and they can sustain and have some longer drives with their running game to keep Mahomes on the sideline.

I have no love for the Eagles, but I'm completely sick of KC and everyone on that fucking team. Plus, fuck them getting three in a row. That's a Packers only club. So, this is an easy call for me.
Go Flappy Birds.

I think the Eagles have the better team. But not the better coach. The Chiefs just know how to win close games. If they need a late score, Mahomes can get it. If they have the late lead, Spags is the master of dialing up pressure. I get the feeling Eagles need a 2 score lead late to win.

Head coach Andy Reid said at his Wednesday press conference that there were no injuries to report as the team heads into their first practice since arriving in New Orleans for Sunday’s game against the Saints. Reid said every player on the roster will take part in that practice session.
That was also the case during the Chiefs’ practices in Kansas City last week. Wide receiver Skyy Moore was the only player to receive an injury designation for a hypothetical game last Sunday and would have been doubtful to participate, although he’s on injured reserve so will needto be activated in order to have any chance of playing.
The injury outlook could change if something goes wrong in practice, but, for now, it looks like health will be the least of the team’s concerns.

Though he missed media availability due to an illness, Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was able to get on the practice field on Wednesday.
Philadelphia listed Carter as a limited participant in the day’s session.
No one missed practice outright for Philadelphia on Wednesday. Receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), running back Kenny Gainwell (concussion/knee), and defensive lineman Brandon Graham (elbow) were also limited.
Graham has said he’s optimistic about playing in Sunday’s game.
Linebacker Zack Baun (groin), receiver Britain Covey (neck), tight end Dallas Goedert (ankle), tight end C.J. Uzomah (abdomen), guard Landon Dickerson (knee), and center Cam Jurgens (back) were all full participants.

What are the odds it’s an eagle that pulls the Eugene Robinson this year?

Brandon Graham's chance at a storybook ending is in play on Sunday.
The Philadelphia Eagles activated Graham from injured reserve on Saturday, making the veteran defensive end available to suit up against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Graham is listed as questionable on the official injury report.
Graham has been on IR since suffering a torn triceps in Week 12, an injury which he initially believed would end his 15th season. But as the Eagles marched forward in the 2024 playoffs, Graham's shot at a return grew. He was designated to return to practice last week during the bye preceding Super Bowl LIX and has been limited in each session throughout.
