Should be the Packers today that are playing. That’s what it feels like every year on this day that it’s not the Packers.

Although it might not set well with some Rats taking the Chiefs to win today, not because of Mahomes, but because of the Taylor Swift effect  but mostly their defense. Oh yeah and because fuck the eagles! Maybe just maybe the sun will shine on a dog’s ass and I will finally win the grand prize on the big SB squares game that I donate to every year.

Chiefs 28 - Feebles 21

I don’t care who wins and don’t care about the half time performer.

Just hope for a good game.

I think it’s hard to bet against the Chiefs

I just have a feeling that the Eagles are going to put up a one sided affair today.

The Packers traded down from 41 to 45 after Eagles traded up from 50 to 40 to draft DeJean. It's very possible Packers were going to draft DeJean at 41.

The glaring weakness on our team is evident after watching this game.
Our front 4 are not getting it done on defense, specifically pass rush.

Our front 4 are not getting it done on defense, specifically pass rush.

I was thinking the same thing. The Philly GM has done a great job constructing that front four. That's been the biggest difference in this game - Philly was getting lots of pressure with zero blitzing.

That is what the Packers are after - like most every team. But Guter needs to be a better GM than the others to find The Guy or two that will transform Green Bay's defensive line so they, too, can get after the QB and stop the run without blitzing.

Then Javon Bullard might look as good as Cooper DeJean.

Fosco33

If we could improve our DL pressure and the C, RG on the OL, we could be in contention next year.

Random thoughts on the game:

1) Philly's defense won the game. The MVP should have gone to a defensive player.
2) Hurts looked ordinary until the KC defense was too worn down to stop him.
3) Fox's graphics looked like something from the 80's.
4) The free 4K stream on Tubi was excellent. All football games should have a free 4K option.

MVP should have been awarded to Eagles Defensive Line. Hard to single out 1 guy. That's why defensive linemen have only won MVP twice.

Alot of credit goes to the Philly D-line and rightly so. They dominated all night. I think Sweat or Williams should have gotten the MVP.

DeJean - Damn, it still pisses me off the Packers could have had him.

One other thing - watching KC's defense last night, to keep Barkley under 60 yards rushing was pretty impressive too. Few times the KC Defense got to him in the backfield for a loss or no gain. I kept thinking, why can't the Packers D do shit like that.
