I'm sitting here bored at the computer after a not-so-hot Badger game...so I decided to start an FYIpr (PackerRats) thread. I have nothing else to do atm so am hoping someone else is on here also.

Have you checked out the "Romper Room"? That's where non-football threads can be found. I suspect this will be moved there by a mod.

While I'm at it, how many posts do I need before I can be considered for a diff "rat" title? I'm here every single day since I signed up but don't post all that much. What about "surfer rat"?

Click on the "Packer Rats Forum Index" near the top of the screen and it will take you to a list. There are quite a few.

I think its 200. Check the "Forum Rules and Regulations" in the Forum Index, and most of your questions should be answered.

HOLO,

Nice to see ya in here again; stop lurking and start posting. We're all pretty nice around here. Start up some new topics. I think you need 200 posts to change the name.

I do think we'll be moving this into the RR in a bit since it's a non football thread though.

Cheers,
Bretsky

$2.43? It's $2.12 here in Minnesota. It's been going down for weeks though. It didn't just drop that far in the last week.

On one side of town today I saw it as high as $2.71 and on the other $2.29.

Yes, the gas price variation is nuts; but it's great to see it going down.

Should be very interesting to see if it goes below $2 in the next 12 months

Would be great...

It's only a matter of time, I think before it goes down. Parts of Iowa are already at $1.95-$1.99.

Dropped to $2.35 here in our part of Southern Wisconsin, I hope it doesn't get jacked up again in time for Christmas shopping.

There's a good idea. I'll start a savings account so I can pay for gas and still buy Christmas presents.

Harv, ours would be close to same as yours except for
the wonderful Wisconsin gas tax that jacks it up, we're
one of the highest in the country. So buy your gas in MN

GB went down to $2.29 today. In like 3 weeks it's gone down almost a buck a gallon. Our high was 3.14 I believe.

I was SO happy today when it only cost $45 to fill up my tank!!

Enjoy it while you can. It will go back up after the congressional elections.

Funny that you mention that. The last time we saw gas under $2 a gal here was Jan of '05 (Presidential Inaguaration, anyone?)

Funny how this stuff works. Utah had the lowest gas prices in the country a couple of months ago - $2.75 when everybody else was paying $3.00. Now it's dropped everywhere but here. It's still $2.75. The Governor began an investigation into price fixing.

$2.29 here too. BUT, if you have a receipt from Hy Vee grocery store you can get a discount per gallon at their store.......discount varies each day. It's so funny when the discount is 10 cents per gallon there's a LINE to get gas lol It's cute, they have these two older guys out there directing traffic to the pumps and they are like drill sergants.....they yell at you if you don't go to the pump they tell you to.

$2.11 here in Shakopee today.

Anybody else play the gas price game?

I've gotten with over 1/4 of a tank left the last few weeks. I've gotten burned. I should have waited. What a loser!
