Marino threw his 400th TD pass in his 227th game. Today is Favre's 228th.

Favre has thrown TDs to 41 different players.

He played:
62 games for his 1st 100 TDs.
45 games for his 2nd 100 TDs
60 games for his 3rd 100 TDs
60 games for the most recent 99 TDs.

Remarkable consistency.

imo, that helps show he is not the issue right now, also that he is not droping off like some think he is.

According to Bob Costas both Favre and Marino are now completely even. 402 TD's in 228 games.

It's too bad Brett ran into a "dry spell" late last season. He would have crossed the 400th barrier a long time ago.

Personally, I wanted to see his consecutive game streak with a TD pass continue. That Unitas record is very, very special.
