We never saw Sherman bitch him out like that. I really hope he stops that shit.

We lost, but we have some promising talent. We're the youngest team in the league but we're playing OK.

I don't know if you guys noticed this, but McCarthy was claling the plays in the first half and his board wasn't covering his mouth. You could see him calling the plays.

I don't know that they started reading their plays but he needs to be carefull. They stopped showing him druing the game so I don't know if it was still going on, but i have a slight suspicion, he was being watched by the toher team. If it's this obvious to us, I'm sure they have someone watching him every play.

Favre is definitely having an off-game tonight. He can't seem to exploit the opponent's weak secondary, because he has been inaccurate on the medium and deep ball pretty much all game long. I wonder when the fair-weather commentators will switch course again and say he should have retired?

Now is the time you get Rodgers in the game.

Ahmad Carroll should be left at the airport and not brought back to Green Bay.

The DBs as a whole tonight played mediocre at best, then the deep balls came....

Nothing like scoring on all 4 of the Eagles possessions.

The missed opportunities in this game came back to bite us. Then when trying to play catch up the mistakes blow the whole thing wide open.

No moral victories here. Mistakes, penalties, drops, turnovers, lousy coverage.

And we play St. Louis next. Though they're not the same level as Philly, they throw deep very well. If Carroll is in the game next week, we will get creamed again.

game went from a potentially big game for us, to another monday night disaster....what a joke we are. if Driver makes that catch, it's possibly 17-16 soon there after...it's one thing when your rookie/young guys mess up....it's another when your veteran players mess up. Driver drops a for sure TD, and then catches the hard one in the back, but can't stay in. the last couple weeks have been like this for him. Catching the hard ones, dropping the easy ones, and the easy ones are the ones we need.

Disagree. This team is not light years from being competitive. They are not there yet, but they aren't that far off. And I am convinced that Favre will be back next year. I can't figure out why he gets desparate when the team gets behind in the 2nd half, but Brett's interceptions at that stage just takes the wind out of the whole team. Combined with Carroll getting roasted time and again, and the team just loses it's edge.

This year will be a roller coaster, but there will be some "upsets" as the season goes on and they start to put 60 minutes together...

Bad time to make that argument, but I stand by that opinion...

That was as bad of a half as I've ever seen. Favre looked like shit.

I wonder what Reid told his players at half-time? Whatever it was it worked. For one thing they started to do what all the other teams have done and that's throw deep.

He reminded McNabb how pathetic of a secondary coach that we have and to throw deep!

Good call!

I thought the Packers played well both O-Line and D-Line...their secondary got torched....and Favre wasn't on target tonight.....

Favre isn't the problem. Throwing 100 times a game is.

How many drops does Driver have this season?? Brett looked pretty bad tonight. He hadf alot of errant throws that either the D droped or the O had to bat down. He was one of the reasons but not the only one why the team lost.

It was really sad seeing Brett Favre play horrid tonight because it was probably the last MNF game he'll play in. I doubt he will come back next year.

Let the Aarron Rodgers era begin!

I agree. He looks injured though. I would not be surprised if he does'nt play next week. It looks like his throwing shoulder to me.

Bashing no, he did have a bad game tonight although DD's drop didn't help much. Please read my past three postgame posts, I praised Brett for his play than but tonight he didn'tm play well. KRob was our best corner.

That was a dangerous looking hit, to get hit in the shoulder with your arm extended like that. However, there didn't appear to be any evidence of a dislocation. Unless Favre wakes up tomorrow and can't lift his arm, he'll be in there.

It looked bad to me. I would not be surprised if he tore some stuff in his shoulder. We'll see.

I'd love for Favre to come back, but I'm kind of excited to see what Rodgers has.

There's no doubt in my mind. *Knock on wood*

Speaking of the Rams, seems like a good opportunity for this team to get a big win heading into the bye week..Of course, they'll probably find a way to blow it..

If he injured his shoulder especially his throwing shoulder he is out. He played with a broken finger 2 years ago but a shoulder is a totally different animal.

If he does sit out next week I'd predict the Aarron Rodgers era offically begins. This team is clearly in a rebuilding season and headed for a top 5 pick next year. I would give the kid as much time as needed to get ready for '07.

If Favre goes down, I'll get my hopes up for a top guy. Right now, I'm guessing 6-10 but a first year QB could drop us to 4-12.

I say 4-12 with 5 wins at the top. More than 4 wins will most definitely get us out of the top 5 imo.

4-12 is reasonable. I think we win the other Detroit game and both Viking games and thats it. That will put us at 4-12. I also see they fire the Defensive Coorinator next year.

Before I was completely disgusted and walked away from the TV, it looked like the left side of the line was giving Morency some running room at times. I have the game taped but I probably wont bother to watch it. Pisses me off that we could have won in Philly and choked it away.

Watch the second Buckhalter fumble though. Barnett had position and ended up trying to arm tackle again. Woodson made the strip 3 yards down field.

I'll admit I don't know his exstent of his injury what I am saying is that like it or not this year will likely be his last year. Everyone and their grandmother would like him to last 3 or 4 more years but the time to move on is now and Aarron Rodgers like it or not is our future QB. Its a shame that the Future HOF QB had to play terrible on a stage where he played so great in the past, I know its just one game and the season is still young. They even might be able to win 6 total games this year.

The defense was our focal point this off season and everyone was saying how improved they became. Wow that was an understatement! The Defense looks horrid these first 4 games. It;s not Favre's fault but I think he should bow out soon.

Ok, I see your point about not sure if he's coming back next year or not, but you do realize that we have one more MNF game this year against Seattle, right? Which is what I was questioning you about when you made your comment originally. I'm thinking maybe you didn't realize that? I dunno. Not a big deal!!

Nobody was saying Favre should bow out after his prior two games, now suddenly "we need to see what our future - time to play AROD" type of stuff is all over the place once again.
