Hawk delayed blitz up the middle beetween guard and center i think. He kinda just took kitna and well made him look like a rag doll. That just walked away, no clebrating no look at me look at me.

I think more important but less flashy was his tackle of Kevin Jones for no gain.

Hawk tossed Kitna to the ground like a rag doll! Love it!!!!

Hawk NEVER celebrates. Even after Marquand's INT, you can see him shaking his head in the endzone because he missed the block on Kitna. It's not that I mind him being mellow, but he holds everything inside. I'm just fearful that he is too hard on himself.

Hawk's a good guy. No need to be worried about him.

In the great Davis vs Hawk draft debate I was solidly in the Vernon Davis camp. But, damn, Hawk has made me a believer. He is going to be beast.

That sack gets my vote as the "play of the game". Hopefully we see more in the very near future.

I'd love to see Hawk taking Mcnabb down like that!

i was really pumped about the play... moreso than the sack but that he made a good read on the running back and acted instinctively to make a play. shit or get off the pot... he wasnt in no-mans land.

the day that i think hawk really comes full circle is when he blows someone up for a forced fumble. obviously interceptions and sacks are game changing (just as much many times) but i want to see that disruption, strike fear into opponents and make them continue their targeting of brady (we can keep working on that).

i see it already. guys like wist talk about him only making three good plays... i cant even count how many times he held his outside lane containment and funneled the ball back to pursuing players who made the stop instead of him. that's such sound football, im definitely on the bandwagon.

To me it appeared that Hawk disguised that sack with great skill for a rookie. He delayed for a moment and then absolutely stalked Kitna by screening his approach behind a battling pair of interior lineman.

Kitna must have thought he had been teleported into the backfield.

It was aaaaaawesome!

I want to hear lame puns about the mighty Hawk swooping down on its quarry for the next fifteen years.
