yeah it was super annoying to me.

they have to go over the top with everything... nothing like having green day, fresh off their album 'american idiot', there to really bring the patriotism into it.

im a lefty by most people's political definition but the last band i could see playing for an event like this would be green day. i know what they stand for, and perhaps agree with it, but come on... i just dont see the correlation.
