I was out mowing the lawn yesterday, on my John Deere tractor, and it occured to me as I looked out over the green and yellow front end, why did John Deere not ask Brett to be their spokesperson? Seeing Brett sitting on a red and black Snapper just doesn't look right, too 'Falconlike'

Just a rambling thought..................I do my best thinking on that darm mower.

I am glad he has never done a lame ass Chunky Soup commercial. Those are the worst. Favre has done some bad ones though, but i always laughed at the "I would have" bit

Also had a national TV ad for Motorola wireless communications in '99

Previously appeared in national ads for 'NFL Sunday Ticket' in 1998 and '99, including the memorable '98 spot where he was pushed around in a supermarket shopping cart

Was the featured subject in a 1999 Right Guard national TV spot, where he was shown as if on a safari; wife, Deanna, also appeared in the commercial

Continues his endorsement of Nike, having appeared previously in national commercials for the shoe maker

Previously was in national television spots for Edge Shave Gel (along with then-teammate Reggie White) and Choice Hotels

Also did a national 'Milk Mustache' ad, which was on billboards in 1997

Has had endorsement deals with Sunny Delight, Yamaha, Toro, Rawlings, Sprint, Pepsi, Repel Insect Block, Cellular One (regional) and Koss headphones.

Also has served as a spokesman for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Bergstrom Automotive (Wisconsin car dealerships), Acclaim video games, Kohl's department stores and Fun Jet Vacations

In conjunction with Hallmark, marketed the Brett Favre Christmas tree ornament in 1999

Had over 2 million of his candy bars, the 'Brett Favre MVP Bar,' sold through fund-raising groups in its first year (1997-98), the most ever sold by the Morley Candy Company

Sold over 100,000 copies of his authorized autobiography, entitled Favre For The Record, which was published by Doubleday late in the summer of 1997, an updated version of the book which included a chapter on the '97 season and Super Bowl XXXII came out in paperback in September of 1998

Made an appearance near the end of the hit 1998 movie There's Something About Mary as the boyfriend of co-star Cameron Diaz

Previously had made a cameo as a janitor in Reggie's Prayer, the 1997 movie project of White

I would be interested in hearing from Brett all the commercial opps he's rejected over the years.

Speaking of Chunky Soup....recall Kurt Warner and his "dumplin's commercial. ...Nice avatar as usual, KilrB. Stupid Rams. 'Member when they used to be public enemy number one just a few years ago? I love beating their brains out now. but it's just not that same as the Kurt Warner years and when he used to claim that he'd have five Super Bowl rings...

Quite a list RG - leave it to someone with a consumer nick like yours to track all that stuff down.

You did miss at least one - those commercials he did for Starter shoes a year or so ago. But you mention a deal with Nike. Is that for apparel, and not shoes? I'd think it would have to be.

Even though I'm HIGH as m*therf*cka, Tyrone knows that if Brett played in NYC he would make Manning his bitch.

Prilosec is "the little purple pill" that's for acid reflux. Wasn't Elway the poster boy for reflux?

When Favre starts pushing Viagra, it may be time for him to retire. Just a thought!

Nah - people who drive riding lawnmowers never need Viagra. A couple tours around the yard on one of those vibrating beasts will do the trick!

Did anyone ever find a link to that Visa commercial he did some years back? That was hilarious.
