I actually talked to some Bears fans at O'Hare. They were really good and had nothing but praise for Brett Favre & Packers. They even asked me: "so do ya think the Bears are good?". I said yeah! We all agreed that the Vikings sucked, sorry Rastak...well not really :D , and that Bears vs Packers was the best rivalry in the NFL. All good!

Might I suggest a visit to Bob Harlan. Let him know how far you've come. I bet he loves hearing that. May the weather be good, the beer flow freely and the team reward you for your travels.

Hiya Michael! Welcome to GB. It's a bright and sunny fall day with a temp of 58 degrees :)

I replied to your email by the way.

Yes, I think Zig gave a great suggestion on calling Bob Harlan. He loves hearing of stories like this. Who knows, you might get a chance to meet some players, too. I would definitely give it a shot.

They should! That's a long way to travel to see a football game.

yeah it is, but people do it all the time. I think it's awesome how Harlan usually takes the time to visit with those people, too. He really has a great relationship with the fans. At Fan Fest I & II he was out almost the whole time talking to people.

TT on the other hand...

Rastak, I don't know if you read it in the paper or not but there is a Viking season ticket holder that comes over for every home game from London. So we've got some of those too.

But does your team president allow them to meet with him and take their phone calls etc.?

That I don't know. To be honest, I don't know if I would want to meet him. Just a talking head to me. Interesting question Zig.

It happens all of the time, and a lot of time those people are rewarded with a picture and blurb on packers.com, but I think you have to submit your story to them:

A man from Denmark should really visit Denmark, WI. It's a quick drive like 20 min south of Green Bay. Not sure what there is to do there, my mom grew up there and I spent some time there when I was really young.

Enjoy the game and the city

I traveled all the way from Newfoundland to see the Saints-Packers game on Oct. 9, 2005. Just arriving at the stadium and seeing all of the fans outside before the game was amazing enough. But then walking into Lambeau Field for the first time is something that I never will forget. The Packers crushed the Saints 52-3, which just topped off an amazing experience. It was simply unbelievable, and I cannot wait to return someday.

Last year I was so lucky that Darcy and Bo invited me to come stay with them. I stayed with them outside Milwaukee from Thursday to Monday, and it was a great time. Sunday was my first game and (hopefully) not my last. It was the game against the Dallas Cowboys in 2004 -- a beautiful day that I will never forget.

Michael,

You need to have a burger at Krolls. The "east" one is the original, but the "West" one is pretty good too.

I miss Krolls....

Also, some frozen custard at Storheims. It's on the west side on Mason Street near hwy 41.

Have a GREAT TIME.

Hi guys,

just came back from Lambeau. I had a short talk with William Henderson plus talked to some coach (don't know who really) - all amazed I'd make the trip from Denmark. Well, I'm hardly the first or last one. I saw at least 30 players today - this is great. Saw a cool, or cold?, Aaron Rodgers - fans say he's a cold fish and no friend of Favre. Hmm! Colledge was a sport and hey I was George Koonce to and shaked his hand. Classy guy. Went to the atrium but I'm getting hungry...

I'm having fun. BEAT THE RAMS.

I told Hendo to tell ALL THE GUYS ABOUT THIS CRAZY FAN. He said:"I will, I will" and smiled. Oh yeah, we'll beat the Rams

If ya get a thirst this weekend, head over to TitleTown Brewring Co. They have good food and a nice selection of their own beer. Its on the west side of the river on Dousman.

Its an old train station converted into a microbrewery/restaurant.

Aaron Rodgers a cold fish? I hung out with him one night earlier this year as he was there with a mutual friend of ours....anyhow, he was awesome and he thought very highly of Favre.

Going to Curly's Pub tonight?? Actually, if I were you, i'd head over to Anduzzi's....except that place doesn't get going until 10:30-11 on most Friday nights.

Tomorrow my friends and I are kidnapping you and taking you downtown. There is a great sports bar down there with Lombardi's old office.

Sounds like you're having a great time! Enjoy.

Hendu would be near the top of my list of players I'd like to meet. He just seems like 'Mr Packer'.

You should go out to that race track and see if Gilbert Brown is there!

Well, in a small city like GB, it's not too uncommon to have mutual friends of others I guess. That's what happened that night...my friend and I walked in, a guy I knew was there and he was sitting with Arod, told us to come join them.

and wouldn't you know, I had been outside all day doing landscaping work and looked really nice when we went to the bar. Oh well, at least it wasn't Brett
