feel free to add but it would be nice to go for broke in 2007 :)

Offense:
Dwayne Carswell, UFA, Denver Broncos OL
Michael Turner, RFA, San Diego Chargers RB

Defense:
Dwight Freeney, UFA, Indianapolis Colts
Vonnie Holliday, UFA, Miami Dolphins
Adalius Thomas, UFA, Baltimore Ravens
Nate Clements, UFA, Buffalo Bills
John Lynch, UFA, Denver Broncos

Hehe If TT does this Im sure we wont be 20 million below the cap ;)

Turner and Freeney are the gems here. I'm a huge Michael Turner fan. That guy is going to be a star feature back some day.

Carswell is OK, Vonnie and Lynch are past their prime but still have value. I'm not sure either would be much of an upgrade. Kampman reminds me of Vonnie.

Clements would be sweet. I like Adalius Thomas, but he fits best in a 3-4 scheme.

Personally, at this point, I think I would rather see the youth infusion continue than add some of these old veterans.

Agree 100% on Turner. I would LOVE to see him in Green and Gold next year.

Freeney will be franchised, so he's not going anywhere. Lych, agreed he is too old. Michael Turner, ahh no. Others are ok, though.

I think there is a .005% chance the Colts let Freeney hit the open market. But, if he does he will be EXPENSIVE. I don't think Thompson would stay in a hot bidding war when we already have two high-priced DE's.
Turner is intriguing. But I don't see Thompson throwing a lot of money at a free agent RB, too many question marks. What if his style doesn't fit the ZBS? If we could get him at a modest running back price, maybe.
IMHO there won't be many good free agents again this year. The huge increase in the salary cap last year, and the bump that's expected next year will keep the FA market weak. Thompson will probably do what he did last year, sign a few modest FA contracts and keep the salary cap situation good for a serious run at FA's in 2008.

Just as everybody else said I'd go with Freeney and Turner.
