I don't usually get too hyped on somebody else's garbage, but I wonder if this isn't a guy the Packers might take a look at. He's been the nickelback the last couple of years, and he's got some size to him.

The New York Jets released defensive back Derrick Strait and signed cornerback Hank Poteat on Wednesday.

Uh..................OK. It doesn't hurt I guess. Sometimes a change of scenery can do a player good. It never hurts to bring a guy in for a look see. Look......see......he's as bad as the rest of our guys. Actually we need all the help we can get.

we should've been the ones signing poteat.

how do you let that much pro experience just wander off to another needy team when we are full of inexperienced rookies?

Why was he cut...seems like he could be the Jets Carroll, but I guess he is worth a look.

You seem suprised? When you want TT to jump at a FA, he won't. That's been his history here thus far, right or wrong. Time will tell.

I don't know. Poteat has never been that good. This guy is a young guy. Maybe a change of scenery would do the trick. It's not like Schottenheimer couldn't coach him up.

I saw them in concert a few months back. Personally, I think they are one of the best groups out there, they put on an incredible performance.

Now, go back to your Britney Spears CD's.... lol

I saw them with Saliva before they were "big" they can drink like mofos! They were at the Quest in The Twin Cities here and got me fricken hammered after their set when Saliva was playing. They are good in my book!

Maybe TT can't even get FAs to come here after they see what our D staff has done to every DB we got. Working here looks to be a dead end job for DBs.

"Hey! Want to be un-coached, lose whatever skillset you have, and then be scapegoated?! Then come to Green Bay! DC Bob Sanders will lead you right down the hall to the Kurt's office, where he's doubtless working on his next great defensive scheme!"

Heya. Bob Sanders here.

You don't look like the guy I hired.

Heya. Bob Sanders here. Sales Manager for District Four and unified subdistrics 4a and 6c of SuperBulk Foods Inc. You wouldn't believe the deal I just cut Mr. Woodson on some frozen chickens.

Where's the Bob Sanders I hired?

http://www.cscma.com/images/members/BobSandersSmall.png
Oh, that guy. Yeah, he left after the first week. He googled me and asked me to take his place. Didn't think anyone would notice. It's been grand. Al Harris bought 120 pounds of bulk ketchup last week. Ah! Here we are.

http://images.packers.com/images/headshots/schottenheimer_kurt.jpg
Schemes.

http://www.gmtoday.com/news/sports/packers/images/mugs/al_harris01.jpg
Yeah. Schemes.

http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/packer/img/news/jan05/ted112.jpg
What kind of schemes? Blitz?

http://www.gmtoday.com/news/sports/packers/images/mugs/al_harris01.jpg
Naw. More like what to do with 120 pounds of ketchup.

So.... Mr Poteat. What do you think? Should I grab the paperwork?

http://www.nflplayers.com/images/players/28828.jpg
Um. No.

Hey! Anyone seen my crate of Fruit Loops? I been looking for that shit all week! Feels like I'm running in circles out here.

So I guess it's true that dinking like a mofo makes you talented.

Wanna see talent?

Go see Primus or any lineup with Les Claypool. Then tell me again just how good Nippleback is.

P.S. Just to keep this related to football - maybe one day Primus will open or play at halftime at a game or superbowl. That would be far too "outside the comfort zone" of the NFL for certain.

Why bother with someone else's junk when we have younger junk with more potential?

Nickleback definitly does suck, just like our nickleback on defense. They are a 2006 version of Warrant. It's definitly quality feminine rock though, just like Warrant was. That's just my opinion though so don't pop a hemi.

Even a crackhead like Tyrone knows Nickleback is pure AOR horseshit.

Can't wait till the join the "where are they now" crowd.

What other band can we count on to have the vast majority of there songs sound like the same music is being played. I once heard an example where they took 2 Nickleback songs an played them over the top of each other and I swear they were the same songs musically just different lyrics!
