I think i'll try to do 3 a day on here, or at least 2 or so, and try to get through the draft, or might just go with the top 10...but yeah, just tryin to have some fun here.

I also wanna say....if/when you vote...don't vote so "your guy" gets drafted by the Packers. do it as if you were the GM of that team, and you are selecting a guy for YOUR team. (i'm not yelling at anyone, just wanted to say that).

it's amazing how simply not being in the news lately has hurt Leinarts draft stock.

agreed...but, he's really been "seeing stars" lately when it comes to the draft. I've heard he's been telling where he wants to go and where he doesn't wanna go, and that he'd like to be in a large city so he pursue "other" interests. called himself the next "broadway joe"

come on guys, how hard is it to click on a button to vote! If you can vote for Bush, you can vote for the NFL

I really wouldn't be surprised to see the trade I meantioned for the first pick, Jets give up 4, 29, and 71, here either. I'm not gonna vote for it, since trades are way too unpredictable, but I'm sure that the Jets would LOVE to go up and nab Bush or Leinart as a replacement for Martin or Pennington.

agreed...i would think they'd trade for Bush if they did.

I think the Jets want to make a media splash like their NY counterpart did when they landed Eli.

It would not surprise me at all if they went up and traded for Bush. I however too have the Texans taking Bush.

In retrospect, I wish I had picked trade. San Fran or NY probably will try and get him.

agreed...i think there is a good chance something happens there, but i'm just going with what it looks like now, which is not for the texans to trade..

Agreed. You know the Saints have to be salivating over the possibility of the Texans passing on Bush. It's instant trade bait. NY has to replace Martin, and SF wants to get Alex Smith some weapons. Only thing I see that could be bad is if they trade down to #4 there is a distinct possibility that they take AJ Hawk, since they need LB help more than they do OL help.

They have Charles Grant and Will Smith, both of which were the reason they let Darren Howard go.

Who do they have running the ball...I haven't heard too much about NO being a real HD rushing attack team. This could be their ace in the hole.

Depends on whether Deuce McAllister comes back from his season-ending injury - I think he got hurt the same game that Najeh got hurt (the 52-3 shellacking).

yes he did...tore his ACL...same injury as Javon.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that NO trades down from here. Dropping down in the round and picking up additional draft picks or securing some picks for next year. They need depth almost as much as we do.

I think the talent at QB has people like Billick, Denny Green, (or heaven forbid) Brad Childress figuring out what makes the best trade bait. These teams need a quality QB and Young or Lienert might be enough to get them to pull the trigger.

Baltimore will probably not trade up since they did this before with Boller (one of the first "Favre" clones, remember?), but Billick can get crazy.

OK guys...since it's kind of close right now, i'm going to let it go through the night, and #3 Tennessee Titans will be on the clock tomorrow morning. I will leave that up until about 130-2 in the afternoon when #4 NY Jets will be on until tomorrow night...then i'll leave the packers pick for at least a day or so, so we can really "dive" into it with a week to go....so if you haven't voted, vote for the Saints now...tomorrow am will be the Titans.

Funny! We did one of these things already, but I guess it's time for a new one.
