Just finished watching and it was a FANTASTIC show. A lot of good footage and commentary. After Starr and of course Ray, Willie Davis was my next favorite player and he had a lot of commentary. It was great to see Bart again.

For those not fortunate enough to see it, Bart did say Favre can throw the ball harder on his knees than Starr ever could standing up.

There was some stuff I did'nt know like Maxie coming in at 6:30 in the morning on Game day of SB1. I knew he stayed out late, but not all damn night! The part from Bill Curry about how Davis reached out to him was pretty cool. The best footage was showing Lombardi looking out his office window late at night.

Also, the Ice Bowl gets all the accolades but that 66 championship game against Dallas was one helluva game. Like 2 heavyweight fighters trading blows back and forth.

They talked about how no NFL team ever had as much pressure to win as Lombardi and the 66 team had against KC.

Personally, I always liked the 66 game vs. the Ice Bowl. I think I read somewhere that Vince only had like 12 plays they used all game and that some were used for the first time in that game. I would buy a copy of that game. The build-up between the Cowboys w/ the fastest human Hayes and the rock steady defense of the Packers were all over the TV in those days.

Have you seen the huge print of this photo inside Lambeau? It must be close to full size. It's awesome!

Joe,
I had the luxury of visiting Lambeau but only once in my lifetime, and was only in town long enough to do a "meet & greet" on a Saturday night(Nitschke & Noble!!), spent most of Sunday afternoon in the HOF, gametime Sunday evening. Left Monday morning.

There were so many things to see & remember!! Can't wait to go back!

Where is this picture?? Must be in the HOF ??

It's not in the HOF. It's on a wall on the lower level concourse, I believe in the northeast part of the stadium, near the Pro Shop.

If (WHEN!!) I ever get back, I'm sure it will still be there, so I'll definetely track it down..

GB, can you point me in the right direction??

I saw that last night and was rolling when they showed some interview with Max and he was talking about all the Broads he had * bleeped* and all the other *bleeping* shit he had done! Just nuts! Also he was smoking in the locker room after the Dallas game. Those were the days........
I never knew Golden Boy never got into the game in the 1st SB. Turned down Lombardi's offer to go in late. :(
