Here is a link to a rumor I wouldn't want to see happen. I saw this on another site.
Our 1st for Moss and Oakland's 3rd, That is insane.

I'd give our 1st and KGB for Moss and their 2nd.

Parting with a #1 for a 30 year old head case -even an immensely talented one like Moss - would be pure insanity.

I wouldn't do it. 3rd and a bit player is enough.

no way i'd give up our 1st or second, even though i really want moss
when you run a player into the ground like oakland has, you don't get equal value back for him

Do not give away our first round pick. Moss is talented but risky. He is a gamble.

I'd give them our 1st and any WR other than Driver and Jennings for Moss and their 2nd and 3rd.

I can't see TT giving up his 1st Rounder for Moss.

I can't see TT givng up his first rounder to save his mother's life...
If we traded our 1st round pick for Randy Moss, Ted Thompson will be dead within 24 hours of doing it, and it will be me that kills him, write it down.

It'd be more funny if it wasn't true.

Id do that if Landry or Nelson is gone...

Agree. Aslo, what are you gonna do with a pouty, overpaid, aging receiver once Favre retires? He'll wreck the lockerroom because he won't respect a young QB. Getting Moss - unless it's on the cheap - is a short-term move that smacks of desperation. He'll be good for two years, tops, will be a huge hit on the sal cap, and will then be an albatross around the neck of the organization.

ND, with all that's going on in this wacky world, don't ever make a statement like this.
That said, I agree with ya.
We aren't the kind of team that needs "a guy' to get over the top. We need troops, several good players added to the roster to make us better. I actually agree with TT's draft draft draft philosophy.
I also have a lot of reservations on Randy Moss's current talent level. He hasn't been the Moss of old for quite a stretch now.

No, no, no. Not at any cost. We need too much and he adds too little. I am concerned about Jennings' ankle and his long term viability as a number 2, but this isn't the answer.
And this rumor built on a rumor (that Favre told the Packers he wanted Moss) makes little sense now. The price on unhappy Randy is only going to go down. Let somebody else spend the money and waste the space.
