No sane person can argue with the stats he's put up. All WR's drop passes, it's the nature of the beast. I've seen him make some big catches over the last few years.

Hell no! I would much much rather give a 2nd to the raiders for Moss. Plus Moss probably would be easier to trade for since he didnt do much last season.

No more than a third, he would be a better option than Moss one third the money,younger, same draft pick. I would do that in a heartbeat, then you can limit the needs safety,TE,RB all can be addressed in the draft.

TT has a history with Jackson, since they were both in Seattle at the same time for 5 years. If he likes Jackson, this could be a deal that makes sense. This would be a safer move than trading for Moss, and Jackson would likely provide more immediate benefits than a rookie receiver.

Not bad numbers for his production. I think the injury concern some have is not warranted. WR is a position that injuries happen quite frequently at unless your name is Donald Driver.

If that is true, that you could get him for a second day choice, I would do it without a second thought.

Trading for a veteran is risk-free. You pay the salary if he is worth it. If not, you let him go and it costs you nothing against the cap. He would certainly seem to have the potential of a second day draft pick.

Denver acquired a much higher first-round pick in exchange for Ashley Lelie.

Denver ended up getting a 3rd and a 4th rounder for Lelie.

If Seattle insists on a 2nd round pick, it's a tough call. If they would take a 3rd round pick, it's a no-brainer, and I'd even throw in Fergy. Of course, if TT throws in Fergy, Seattle might insist on the 2nd. :D

TT really needs to look at his pick and say, "Can I get somebody here that I am confident can assist and produce on our team?" If it is a no, then by all means get Jackson. I know it is much more complex than that, but I like to rationalize.
