Where is a good place to go hiking, mountain biking, and/or light rock climb (equipment rental would be required 'cause I don't have my own)?

I have a week off in like two weeks and want to go off by myself for a day and just relax and exercise.

Saint Croix is a good place to check out. It's also pretty close to where you are located.

Do they rent equipment there or do I need to buy my own?

The park itself does not as it's run by the state. However, there are places around Devil's Lake that rent equipment.

Peninsula State Park is also one of my fav places in the state to go biking and hiking. Again, a couple places at the first main entrance that rent equipment.

edit: Here is a great link for all the state parks and all the info you need to know about them.

You don't need equipment to hike and climb up to the top. Its a great workout and once you get to the top you get rewarded with a great view
