The Patriots also signed LB Adalius Thomas as expected. The deal is for $37.5 million for five years, which includes $24 million in the first three years.

That's not even that big of a deal. I thought it was going to be a lot more than that considering that he was one of the first guys signed.

LB was not our biggest need... I don't see spending 7 mill on someone that's not going to play over 70% of the time of defense...

In the nickel package... HAWK AND BARNETT Would be out...

On the dime ... It would be Barnett...

So I'm glad T.T did not waste 7 mill on him...

Couldn't agree more. I like our LB and DE corp. We need a S and a nickel CB on D. What we need to sign in FA is O players.

the real good news about this deal is now Barnett is losing a ton of bargaining power he is as I have said all along worth no more than 5 million a year. :P :P :P :P
