The Bucs are making a strong push for the former Falcons FB who was supposedly high on the Packers UFA list. I heard that Denver also really likes him and he may be signed within two days. Heard it on the radio today, Inside the huddle.

I also heard TT has had a phone conversation with his agent. It appears he wants a bidding war for his service and the packers are not interested.

He'll get a 3 year 27 million dollar deal from someone and were not giving that out for a FB.

3 year 27 million dollar deal. I highly doubt that man. But we'll see.

I hope that was a joke and i just missed it, b/c what FB is making 8 mil a year. I've never even heard of a biding war for a FB.

I really want this guy, man TT is moving really slow in free Agency.

The dude that just signed with the Falcons is getting 3 per year if I remember correctly and he is viewed as the best in UFA. Sarcasm!

Of course I was being sarcastic. Of course, I would of never guessed a 8 year 80 million dollar deal either.

Teams have too much damn money.

Buccaneers | Team signs Askew

Scott Reynolds, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed free agent FB B.J. Askew (Jets) to a multi-year deal. Terms of the deal were not available.

Assuming the Bucs are satisfied with Askew, that would make Green Bay his likely destination, as his other options were back with Atlanta (Ovie Mughelli) and, as mentioned, Tampa. I haven't heard anything on PFT or KFFL about other possible destinations.
