so the Titans are split...the coaches want Matt Leinart, the scouts and GM want Vince Young....who do you think should have final say in this?

This has been the story for the last month or so. Young would be my pick over the overrated Liny.

my poll should probably say who SHOULD get the final say, not just who does...

I think Young is overrated, and Leinart will be the best QB since Peyton Manning.

either way, ND72, it's a pretty dumb ass poll.

Not to pick on you, I think Nick Barnett's today was even worse.

Overrated, he smoked Liny and all his offensive weapons in the Rose Bowl. Overrated, give me a break. He was the best player in college last season but that doesn't always transcend to the NFL.

so Young takes the snap, stands there for 3 seconds, then runs....he's not even a QB. And did you see the game? Young's WR's were WIDE open. USC's defense was horrible. I could have made those throws. If Young is good, it will be at WR.

and no offense Harlan...every poll on here is stupid...the only point to mine is just for fun and to start conversation as for what you think. if you don't like it, then don't read/answer it. donno what else ot say. i've seen by far dumber polls, but have enjoyed them just to talk about them.

the last 7 drafts i've accurately said which QB's will and won't make it....i'm 100%....Vince Young will not make it. He's not a good QB. Their offense was exaclty the same as Alex Smith, and Smith put bigger numbers than Young. and see how smith is doing? yeah, he'll do well, keep thinking that.

I guess I'll take your word for it. yOUNG HAS WAY MORE TALENT THAN than any QB in last years draft.

With absolutely no regard to who I think the better player will be, the GM should always have the last say in the matter. That's his job. The coaches' opinions are valuable, but the GM decides. Ultimately, he is the one held resonsible for the make-up of the roster.

I thought Fisher is both coach/gm, a la Mike Sherman the great. Am I wrong? :?:
