Lets take a look at higher profile players still out there:
WR-Donte Stallworth
WR-Kevin Curtis
TE-Jeremy Stevens
LB-Cato June
CB-Rod Hood (most likely gone)
CB-Nick Harper
S-Ken Hamlin
RB-Corey Dillon
DT-Robaire Smith
LB-Kawika Mitchell
LB-Donnie Edwards
I doubt we have a shot at very many of these guys.

Sure TT has done absolutely nothing this off-season, but I believe that he's doing it for a good reason. I myself am a little irritated that Griffith couldn't get signed but other than him I didn't want the Packers to go out and spend tons of money on aging FA's. You just have to sit back like TT and be patient, I'm sure he's eyeing up some FA but he's keeping hush hush so no other teams get in a bidding war with him.

They aren't all aging. They aren't all being overpaid.

I would like to see Stevens come to GB......I know people think the guy will drop every pass thrown his way but he can get open and his "Hands of stone" could soften a bit with good coaching and the colder weather.... I think he would make one heck of a target for old #4 this year. :)

the guys is also an A-1 first class ass hat
this guy talks crap all week, and has never been able to back it up. then punched some guy in the nuts last year. not to mention he's dropped every ball i've ever seen thrown to him

so you think guys will be cheaper to sign next year, or the price to resign our own guys won't go way up?

No, I'm saying that there are plenty of good FA left and I wouldn't be suprised if TT moved on one of them for less money than if he would have attacked the issue right away. I look at it this way, he waited around last year and still came away with some solid pick ups so I'm just going to be patient and wait for him to make his stratigical move as he did last year.

YOU ARE CORRECT! Taco Wallace, Matt O'dwyer, and Adrian Klemm are still available! Adrian, YO Adrian! Can you run the football?

but we didn't really save money by waiting around and letting everyone get signed
we signed woodson to a seven year 52.7 million dollar deal, last year. one of the biggest contracts of the year, for a guy who had barely played the 2 previous seasons

Is it or is it not a weak free agent class this year? You can be coy and say that not all guys are old and not all are being overpaid but the fact is that there aren't alot of must-have players out there to begin with.

Its not that bad , we could be the Vikings.
Zygi Wilf is trying to kill interest in the Vikings so it will be easier to move the team.

It doesn't matter who is out there. Even if the Packers are interested, they won't be able to close the deal. Their luke warm approach to free agency is getting annoying. If your not SERIOUS about a FA, then DONT BRING TO FUCKING LAMBEAU FIELD! FUCK!!! SIGN THE FUCKERS ONCE THEY GET HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD DAMN YOU TT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE RUINING MY TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! I FUCKING HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay, I'm better now.

Can I come? Guerski just told me I was NEGATIVE. Help me before I jump from the bridge.... (Perhaps I can land on Thompson, and solve TWO problems at the same time)

Remember the Seattle game last year? That was hilarious! He dropped about 5 passes and the crowd started booing. I was laughing myself.
And then he caught a TD that never should of been.

Seattle Seahawks: On Friday, a day after making Deon Grant the third-highest-paid safety in football, the Seahawks reached an agreement on a five-year deal with Browns safety Brian Russell. Financial terms weren't available, but Russell becomes the second new safety added to the Seattle roster in 24 hours.
The addition of Grant and Russell means the Seahawks won't re-sign starter Ken Hamlin, a Pro Bowl alternate who is a free agent and recently visited the New Orleans Saints.
Hamlin will probably be the next on my want list to go elsewhere.
Raiders reach agreement with highly-touted FB Griffith
The Oakland Raiders have reached agreement with unrestricted free agent fullback Justin Griffith, continuing to address a backfield that was in need of upgrades in quality and depth,
The deal with Griffith, one of the NFL's top fullbacks who played the first four seasons of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, comes in the wake of Friday's addition of former Indianapolis tailback Dominic Rhodes. Griffith figures to be the primary escort now for the tailback tandem of Rhodes and LaMont Jordan and his signing could foreshadow the end of fullback Zack Crockett's long tenure with the Raiders.
Griffith, 25, will sign a three-year contract worth $3.8 million. The deal is contingent upon him passing his physical exam.
In Oakland, he will be reunited with assistant coaches Greg Knapp and Tom Cable on the staff assembled by rookie head coach Lane Kiffin. Knapp was the offensive coordinator in Atlanta for three of Griffith's four seasons there and Cable was the offensive line coach in 2006.
It is believed that both coaches lobbied hard for the addition of Griffith, who is a prototype West Coast offense fullback.
Some league observers were surprised that Atlanta made so little effort to retain Griffith, a two-time Pro Bowl alternate. But under new coach Bobby Petrino, the Falcons wanted a bigger, lead-blocking type fullback for their offense, and they signed former Baltimore starter Ovie Mughelli last week.
Highly touted. I love it. Thompson's not interested in anybody that's highly touted.
:D

I don't think the FA pool is very deep; I'm a little disappointed in how quiet TT has been, but I'm not exactly depressed we didn't sign Justin Griffith.
I think TT will continue to build via draft. Trouble is, he has a lot of building to do...plus you end up with a bunch of rookies.
