With Arod in need of playing time and the Packers looking to be a cellar dwellar, who should the Packers start in the latter half of the season if the Packers are clearly out of playoff contention? Try not to let your giddiness lead you in the wrong way.

First it would depend on whether Favre was playing well or not. If he was playing OK, then, just like last year, there's no way you yank your starter
It would also depend on how close to various records Favre was. If he could top Marion in TDs etc. then I think they'd leave him in, even if he was playing poorly.

That being said, this is a terrible hypothetical to consider!

if we are clearly not competing, i think you have to think of Rodgers...BUT...Brett has earned the right. it's a toughy. i wouldn't wanna be the coach that benched brett favre.
