Genesis: Live 1973 - First time in HD with Enhanced Soundtrack

This is the original line up.

http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRYq_D5bCPBj4rRMMhAUrhu0XhCO_qpJ hq-6Alrx_WGPZ6uBc8C

Genesis Live is the first live album released by rock group Genesis. Rolling Stone gave the album a brief but positive review, commenting that "this album goes a long way toward capturing the gripping power and mysticism that has many fans acclaiming Genesis as 'the greatest live band ever'."

Tony Banks, Steve Hackett, Mike Rutherford, Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins' are playing amazingly as a whole unit, holding together some very complex music in a live setting.

Tony Banks – Hammond organ, Mellotron, Hohner pianet, 12-string guitar, backing vocals
Phil Collins – drums, backing vocals
Peter Gabriel – lead vocals, flute, tambourine
Steve Hackett – lead guitar
Mike Rutherford – bass, bass pedals, 12-string guitar, backing vocals

I'm so "HAPPY" listening to Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin III.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2laB2BmSNn0

Led Zeppelin III Full Album (Vinyl Compilation)

I love this one. Right out of the gate it moves me and is what any album needs to do in terms of production ... or ... grab you by the ass and shake your bloody senses. Many of the songs featured on the album were conceived in mid-1970 at Bron-Yr-Aur, an 18th-century cottage in Gwynedd, Wales, on a hilltop overlooking the Dyfi Valley, three miles north of the market town Machynlleth.

" We decided to go off and rent a cottage to provide a contrast to motel rooms. Obviously, it had quite an effect on the material that was written... It was the tranquility of the place that set the tone of the album. Obviously, we weren't crashing away at 100 watt Marshall stacks. Having played acoustic and being interested in classical guitar, anyway, being in a cottage without electricity, it was acoustic guitar time... After all the heavy, intense vibe of touring which is reflected in the raw energy of the second album, it was just a totally different feeling."

"Jimmy was listening to Davey Graham and Bert Jansch and was experimenting with different tunings, and I loved John Fahey. So it was a very natural place for us to go." Robert Plant

This album came out to intense criticism.it was to acoustical for critics that needed the head pounding rush of Led Zeppelins first two offerings.

Jimmy Page was so pissed off that he refused interviews for almost 18 months.

" I can see how if somebody got Led Zeppelin III, which was so different from what we'd done before, and they only had a short time to review it on the record player in the office, then they missed the content. They were in a rush and they were looking for the new "Whole Lotta Love" and not actually listening to what was there. It was too fresh for them and they didn't get the plot. So, in retrospect, it doesn't surprise me that the diversity and breadth of what we were doing was overlooked or under-appreciated at the time. " Jimmy Page

Myself...I loved Led Zeppelin III and IMO all three of these first albums are deserving of replacing photo's on any audiophile's walls. They are deserving of a center of focus and a Led Zeppelin shrine.

That's all 'he' wrote' on that. :glug: Hey it's FRIDAY !!! Party Time !!! :glug:

Your welcome HowardRoark.

I take a Tylanol most every day. I still work out and that helps with any soreness if I overdo it. This is a difficult time now toget any real fresh air as it's 18 degrees F up here this week. So it's difficult to jog or walk out of doors.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9e/Led_Zeppelin_logo.svg/330px-Led_Zeppelin_logo.svg.png

Yes Led Zeppelin II and II are classic abums that are a must for anyone who enjoys good and sophisticated ROCK. I think of Led Zeppelin as "the First Great Heavy Metal band". It's a funny thing but when I posted you on this before I got this album confused with their first album named simply Led Zeppelin. I love this initial piece of work. It's spectacularly unraw.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/e/ef/Led_Zeppelin_-_Led_Zeppelin_%281969%29_front_cover.png

LED ZEPPELIN.

That album sets down some terrific blues style tracks and yet it received negative reviews. Critics later saw Led Zeppelins first album more positively. The album is maintains a rank #29 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. That's distinguishing praise indeed and maintains its lofty ranking in a Rolling Stone update (2012).

This Jimmy Page produced album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2004.

Up until the late 1960s, most music producers placed microphones directly in front of the amplifiers and drums For Led Zeppelin, Lead guitarist Jimmy Page added a twist and microphones. Page placed an additional microphone some distance from the amplifier (up to twenty feet away) and recorded the balance between the two. By adopting this "distance equals depth" technique, Jimmy Page became one of the first producers to record a band's "ambient sound":

Ambient sound: Is the distance of a note's time-lag from one end of the room to the other.

I'm a technical guy and appreciate innovative sound techniques and music. It's never been Pop and music for me. I want sound that challenges my senses and digs through to reach deep my soul. Commonly we say music to shit kick move me. If it's not almost assaulting me with purity I can't hear it. Led Zepllin got through to me as soon as their music hit Sam The Record man in Toronto. I just set up a new stereo and went into the Big City and visited Sam The Record man.I bought these five albums"

a) LED Zepplelin II

b) TRAFFIC's - "John Barleycorn must Die."

c) Lighthouse "LIVE"

d) Neil Young - "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere"

e) POCO - POCO

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/b7/Poco_1970.jpg/330px-Poco_1970.jpg

POCO hooked me right away and almost every Saturday morning. Those were the days ! I was living in Mississauga Ontario and assisting in designing systems in the (AECL) Atomic Energy Research Facility.

POCO and Led Zeppelin are true favourites of mine and I have a lot of Neil Young's material. You know about TRAFFIC and Steve Winwood. Lighthouse was an outstanding Canadian band going places at the time and had just returned from a tour overseas. I had the pleasure of seeing that band perform LIVE a few times. I saw POCO LIVE at Massey Hall in Toronto. Live with Murray McGlaughlin. That was a very special night. POCO...check that band out.

LED ZEPPELIN: Can I find it?

I'll swing this on here:

Led Zeppelin Live in Texas 1969 Full Concert Sorry Audio 'only.

Comment: Performed LIVE in Texas just after an American tour and before that band is going back home. It's pretty wild and it's clean. It's got that deep Led Zeppelin bluesy feeling sound. It plays well in the background or right in your face.

"I can't quit you baby... I can't put you down"

Then there's the great "Dazed and Confused". That screams BLUES.

This is good Led Zeppelin...It's move your head and feet and knee...it's hurt inside.

The Canuck ... The Amazing DAVID WILCOX

This is one really bad ass guitar player. He's so comfortable with his telecaster guitar and style that you might almost imagine he sleeps with it. To see this man perform is an experience like no other. Noone is better or more transfixing entertaining up close and personal in a club setting. He'll blow you away. We love David Wilcox in Canada and to be a Canadian and never see this man is to have missed out on an amazing performer. He's a wild and very crazy man. He's also brilliant if not too bugged out on coke or booze.

Some of the LIVE videos are a tad shakey but what you should look for is the manner in which he entertains and plays the guitar. Some of the world's most respected guitarists idolize David Wilcox as having his own style and brilliance.

Infidels - 100 Watt Bulb ((Stereo))

The singer is Margaret Leslie "Molly" Johnson. A rock and jazz singer who sang for the band Alta Moda before Infidels. As well Molly's a frequent contributor to the Canadian band Big Sugar.

Molly Johnson also organized benefits "the Kumbaya Festival" for Canadian charities working around HIV and AIDS. She helped to raise over $1 million$ for people living with AIDS/HIV.

From 1992 to 1995 "Kumbaya" was broadcast live by MuchMusic, and featured Canada's best talent from Rush to the Tragically Hip, from Barenaked Ladies to Sarah McLachlan.

I enjoy her as a DJ on Canada CBC 2 FM; a non commercial music... "all genres programming" station. She has this happy lusty earthy sultry voice that's so charming. Molly is a solid Jazz performer now. A talented woman and all round respected and decent person.

This just chucks it downnnnn ! They are better that ever. Randy Bachmann and Berton Cummings simply doing it as they always have..American Woman features one of the Greatest Riff's all time. . . . Enjoy it as it never grows old ! Randy Bachmann on lead guitar is smokin' here. Jimmy Page who !?? Bachmann picks it up around ... 8:08 ... and this is a wonderful guitar break and I mean one of the best ever. It's over the TOP....So intense I think he wore out one guitar and had to make a switch. :-D

This is flat out an incredible Rock Band. GORDON DOWNIE is as good a lead singer as there is in the world today IMO. He's madness great. To experience this band LIVE is just unbelievable. You would feel blown away. I really enjoy the unassuming style and talent of Rob Baker, he's really special. These fellas began in High School and the original crew is still together. They began practising in a garage. The sell out wherever they play. The band has never sold itself out. The Hip stays true to itself as a rather unique and hard driving ROCK BAND with a twist. Their totally awesome in every song they do.

This was fun to watch. It's almost like traveling personally in Canada. You'll get some feel for what it's like up here.

Your host is Kim Berly (drums, vocals) for the Stampeders and an original member and he'll hookup with the other two originals Ronnie King (rhythm guitar, vocals) and their solid lead guitarist Rich Dodson (lead guitar, vocals).

The Stampeders band members are hooking up to do a gig in 'the Maritimes' (Halifax, Nova Scotia).

You'll see the guys hooking up and the fun they have. It's like a first day 'duck hunt'. :-)

You'll see a little bit of a sound check @ the venue for this gig... or at the Halifax, NS Casino....etc. Right up to 'show time'. The aftermath of the big show. Lot's of Maritimers out to se a band they love...loads of excitement. The LIVE video I presented in this post was from this gig, I believe.

I hope it was fun for you to watch such band vet's have so much fun with really is their hobby. The band continues to this day touring Canada doing fairs, festivals, casinos and theatres.

" In 1964, drummer Kim Berly (born Kim Meyer) answered an ad in a Calgary newspaper to join a band called the Rebounds, which consisted of lead guitarist Rich Dodson, bassist Brendan Lyttle and rhythm guitarist Len Roemer; Berly also brought his brother Al (who went by the name Race Holiday) into the fold to sing lead.

In January of 1965, they changed their name to the Stampeders, after signing a managerial contract with Mel Shaw. At this point Roemer decided to call it quits and was replaced with Cornelius Van Sprang (stage name Ronnie King) and his brother Emile (stage name Van Louis) whose band The Echo Tones had just split up. This is a taste of what it was like for Canadian Rock Stars 'the Stampeders' back in the 1970's. Lot's and lotssaaaa chicks !! LOL Those were .... the days. :-) Some of us had the pleasure of living in them. The 1960's & 70's and music and just how much that became a part of our normal lives. That was the way it was with the people I chummed with. Bar, tavern, and arena bands. Lots of them to enjoy. That's what we did back in the Maritimes during the colder months.... until barbecue and beach weather. Then it was the music of these bands that we continued to party to while camping or at bonfires. Those days were so filed up with job responsibilities and activities in recreational sports. Martial arts and various competitions. The family and close friends stuff and the children to attend to and school activities. Short trips to a city like Montreal to see the Montreal Canadians or the EXPOS (MLB). I loved the Expos et les Habitants de Montrrreaal. 'Of course' from afar I loved my green bay Packers (since 1958).

I loved my Milwaukee Braves back then and Henry 'Hammerin Hank' Aaron was my HERO. Along with The Big 'M', Frank Mahovlich of the Toronto Maple leafs, Detroit Red Wings and Montreal Canadians ..Les Habs.

Joni Mitchell

" Joni Mitchell, (born Roberta Joan Anderson; November 7, 1943), is a Canadian musician, singer songwriter, and painter. Mitchell began singing in small nightclubs in Saskatchewan and Western Canada and then busking in the streets and dives of Toronto. Her more starkly personal 1971 recording Blue has been called one of the best albums ever made.

Mitchell has deeply influenced fellow musicians in a diverse range of genres. Her work is highly respected by critics. Allmusic said, "When the dust settles, Joni Mitchell may stand as the most important and influential female recording artist of the late 20th century,"

Rolling Stone called her "one of the greatest songwriters ever."

The guitar odyssey of Joni Mitchell.

Joni is also rated as an exceptionally gifted guitar player. You'll hear that easily in some of the performances I present. Her guitar style is certainly unique and wonderful.

" Her guitar doesn't really sound like a guitar: the treble strings become a cool-jazz horn section; the bass snaps out syncopations like a snare drum; the notes ring out in clusters that simply don't come out of a normal six-string. "

You can read about her and that here:

http://jonimitchell.com/library/view.cfm?id=38

Her lyrics are noted for their developed poetics, addressing social and environmental ideals alongside personal feelings of romantic longing, confusion, disillusion, and joy. "

Even Joni can have a Senior moment..LOL. For all she's given that's allowed I believe.

The diamondback snake, foretells.
The land ... she ... retreats to.
She stares...stares ... she stares.
Simply... lives... out ... her life.
Enveloped in multi...colored... paint.
Never subdued....... seduced.
Never never ... taken in ... by any;
Normal ... man's ... charms.
Alone ... she learns to ... breathe.
Accept and love ... just ... her... self.

Joni Mitchell just inspired, " the Irish poet " in me... Woodbuck27

She inspired the likes of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page to think of her when writing their lyrics. It's a good thing for 'the Rock Legends' ..... 'this Absolute Genius Goddess'... left room for them. :-D

Joni Mitchell began playing the guitar like countless young musicians of the '60s, but she quickly turned onto a less-traveled path. "When I was learning to play guitar, I got Pete Seeger's How to Play Folk-Style Guitar," she recalled. "I went straight to the Cotten picking. Your thumb went from [imitates alternating bass sound] the sixth string, fifth string, sixth string, fifth string. . . I couldn't do that, so I ended up playing mostly the sixth string but banging it into the fifth string. So Elizabeth Cotten definitely is an influence; it's me not being able to play like her. If I could have I would have, but good thing I couldn't, because it came out original."

In this song Joni Mitchell, does some rather unique open chording with her guitar. This is something that not only made her unique; but she accomplished it in such a fine and accomplished degree that she's recognized (I believe) as one of, if not the top ranked open chord female guitarist in the world.

Joni Mitchell tells the story of "the Magdalene Laundries" located outside Dublin, Ireland and adds that other Irish towns had such laundry establishments where wayward women were sent to work. You didn't need to be a so deemed loose girl to a prostitute in those days to be considered wayward. You might not be married at say 25 years of age. Now if the men folk were eyeing you... that spelled your doom. For the Man's Lady's might get their feathers ruffled and have you sent to a place... a safer distance away from town.

The song tells a story of these "Magdeline Laundries" ... a laundry housing where "the Catholic Sisters of Charity" would send pregnant women of ill repute (women pregnant out of wedlock) to basically work as not much more than slaves. Often these woman died for lack of decent care. Thus they were buried without any fanfare..their bodies basically disposed of. When the convent property of some 11 acres was sold to developers sometime I assume in the 1970-80's (see Joni Mitchell and Newspaper) and subsequently bulldozed for a new construction project.

> 100 remains of females were uncovered in what was almost a mass grave site. As a result that discovery caused a huge scandal for the RC Church and that Diocese.

So this story from a newspaper... of this historical tragedy; inspired Joni Mitchell to write this song that's loosely based on this horrible and ongoing tragedy back in the 1800's.

Anyway that's my understanding of the foundation for this song. Check it out for yourself if you care to.

Joni Mitchell - The Magdalene Laundries (Live Toronto 1994)

" So how does Mitchell discover the tunings and fingerings that create these expansive harmonies? Here's how she described the process: "You're twiddling and you find the tuning. Now the left hand has to learn where the chords are, because it's a whole new ballpark, right? So you're groping around, looking for where the chords are, using very simple shapes. Put it in a tuning and you've got four chords immediately— open, barre five, barre seven, and your higher octave, like half fingering on the 12th. Then you've got to find where your minors are and where the interesting colors are - that's the exciting part.

"Sometimes I'll tune to some piece of music and find [an open tuning] that way, sometimes I just find one going from one to another, and sometimes I'll tune to the environment. Like 'The Magdalene Laundries' [from Turbulent Indigo; the tuning is B F# B E A E]: I tuned to the day in a certain place, taking the pitch of birdsongs and the general frequency sitting on a rock in that landscape."... "

This post # 8215 above By: member mraynrand... Is an obvious :flm: "FLAME". :flm:

mraynand ... has been stalking me and FLAMING me for way to long now. I'm going to ensure I do what's necessary to get him banned from Packerrats.

I've never in eight years as a member here; had to deal with anyone as seriously sick and obtrusively compulsive, as this extremely arrogant, dangerously narcissistic and absolute bully as member mraynrand (aka Cleft Crusty). Mraynrand actually enjoys harming others he's that ill.

I havn't been a loyal member here for now nearly eight years and contributed as +vely as I have; to have to deal with such a low life, as the member mraynrand (aka Cleft Crusty here @Packerrats) seriously is. In a lifetime mraynrand is the sickest man I've ever encountered and I've come across some really disturbed people. Most of these creep you simply push away by what ever means necessary ...mraynrand is SICK...and obsessively compulsive and full of anger/resentment and enjoys attacking others. I've observed this idiot do this as a member for way to long.

I want both of these members names and profiles removed from Packerrats in short order. He forced it right here. mraynrand (aka Cleft Crusty) is 100% to blame for this fate

I've a serious issue with mraynrand that can 'only' be resolved if that member and Cleft Crust are both banned from posting @ Packerrats.

I've never asked for such a punishment "of any member here before" (and I include the member Scott Campbell) and in this case ... This action 'unfortunately' must be done.

mraynrand ... WIWWY

That's OK ... I'll make sure that.... I fix it for 'YOU'.

Bye bye... Time to really try put 'you' finally ... Out Of Your Misery.

Read and dig deep to understand me mraynrand. You get one more chance of a response and it better be the right one.

Are you capable of thinking mraynrand. Use all of your skills.

There you go again. Dodging the real issue. The classic mraynrand >>>dodge and redirect to member HowardRoark ... (Scott Campbell - on that one. Dear Lord ! I simply shake my head... your so pathetic mraynrand )

HowardRoark... I deal with that member (any member here) on my own basis "little man'. I've no issues with HowardRoark. I'll be surprized if we ( HowardRoark and I) posted one another more than a dozen times.

Then there's 'you' mraynrand. I know 'you' mraynrand. Simple rules of observation and trained/experienced analytical skills with decades of practise. Your an easy read... like a book mraynrand...whatever your name and fake persona is today. I hope your wife manages to get you to change your shitty ass attitude underwear, as often at least, as you change your avatar here.

mraynrand ... 'your tired worn out act...It's done here ! Your ways are done at Packerrats. Your a train wreck mraynrand. Your pathetic in your weakness. I've zero compassion for you.

Your style of defense is weak. Your a classic example of the fact that a decent education ( you have that) too much about you screams that. Your well educated or at University / College level and 'White Collar'. You have to be either self-employed or "White Collar"; certainly not Blue Collar. Your type doesn't last as a 'Blue Collar' worker. MEN would eat you alive. Your attitude and personality would have you rejected in short order. That's what's taking place here right now.

Why!?

It's your stinking attitude and rotten self centered 'NO' manners. Your insanely aggressive and totally disrespectful. You have pathetic commen sense and decency values.

mraynrand... your a trolling/stalking, flaming, rotten/terribly bad mannered and angry/envious/jealous 'low esteemed' no decent account member at Packerrats, mraynrand. Your game is sick.

I believe that you'll be tossed from Packerrats ...an easy prediction because of 'you' mraynrand. Your ... "Your Own worst enemy". Your the worst. No honor, certificate of approval, no trophy or recommendation comes with that.

Your going to be booted from Packerrats . For all that's even marginally decent...you must get tossed from Packerrats. So mraynrand...this is my good bye to you. Your leaving soon.

This 'you' and 'Scott Campbell' bent you're obsessed with and me of late. What is wrong with you and that. Ask yourself that mraynrand. Ask a psychologist. You need some serious analysis mister. Life has treated you bad right!? All as a result of your rottenness. Your one half and all of a bad equasion.

Scot Campbell...wow. You cannot hold a candle to him and his personal issues. Scott at least arrived at the fact he was overly preoccupied with the wrong agendas and a Pro Sports Team posting forum. If you need to bash and troll and flame and insult people. Take that to where you'll get your ass kicked. Get it off Packerrats.

Bringing an innocent members name into this ... your so very pathetic mraynrand.

'You' have zero game. It's done...over ...kaput. You've made a classic error in judgement in terms of what's wrong with you vs me. Your a minor player at Packerrats because your so selfish, self absorbed important to yourself. It's always in the time I've observed you post at Packerats. It's all about you.

Ever stand on your "Own Two Feet" when your ways have you backed in a corner? Ask yourself that mraynrand (aka Cleft Crusty) . I want to see you tossed from Packerrats. Kicked out of here for as long as it takes you to fully realize your not fit to have the privilege of posting in this Green Bay Packer Home. I've zero hope you'll ever change. Your attitude your sickness dominates you.

No more "flames"; no more trolling/stalking and no more low brow know it all narcissistic obsessive-compulsive rottenness and 'you' mraynrand" at Packerrats .

Your sick games are over. Your Done here mraynrand.

You've worked your last "creep" show.

mraynrand (aka Cleft Crusty). I hope that mad kicks "your sorry no class" attitude out of here.

That' ll be really great news !

FTFY. Lets get the math right at least.

Sure Zool right on.

** Let's Get The Math Right **

** A title idea... for the next book I write.

Math is hard. Moreso it causes people stress. I know... I taught Math. Trying too get into the students head is a challenge. One I enjoyed. Some were never taught that Math is fun. I kept it that way.

I've taught General Academic Mathematics - Technical/Technological related Mathematics. Basic Arithmetic is usually mastered by grade three or four.

Add; Subtract; Multiply and Divide; Fractions and Decimals >>> all easy. Algebra; Geometry; Trigonometry;

Calculus; Laplace Transforms and Differential Equations >>> more challenging.

The dependence on calculators has harmed people in the work force today. I was fortunate...

School in the 1950-60's High School; Technology Diploma (Industrial Instrumentation and Controls Technology).

A University Degree - Technology Education (Major in Mathematics - minor in Industrial Psychology)

Can Mad afford a Packerrats Forum Calculator 'a click away' ? I've one at my desk plus pens and paper.

Maybe? Basic arithmetic tutorials on a thread here at Romper room? Some work up's as tutorials.

Aritmetic shouldn't stress us out or over challenge us.

I love Math. It's everywhere I look. I generally think and analyze 'somewhat' mathematically. I always taught my students: ...There's 'never any problem that you can't solve except when there's a human factor involved. That often can get rather conditionally complicated and convoluted. People can be complex. ie as a result of things like personality issues and those expanding to severely complex, when dealing with a /or psychological factor (s).

I've always taught the *** "Keep it Simple, Stupid... Method" *** ; while working up my own course designs to cover the curriculum. Text books cost too much $$$$.

Problem >>> NO Problem.

How many consecutive posts after HowardRoark's post # 8044 on Page #403 this thread: to my post #8214 (on page #411 this thread?

It's simply subtraction:

The exact number of my consecutive posts (That was so much fun too :grin:);

Answer: (........)

Zool.. Is it this? Just a guess. Are mraynrand and 'you' processing that simple problem using some higher form of Mathematics. Sometimes people over complicate things. Life is often hard.

See ***

After that...then there's checks. You look at your answer. Does it make sense?

Page #403 and #411..Thats like 11 - 3 = 8 + 1 = 9 and 20 posts /thread so 9 x 20 = 180 posts and the correct answer...

Isn't this fun !? I won't steal you fella's glory. Work it out !

Well frankly...The correct response is ...NO! It's like the Packer Management ...They don't make any sense. Of course not to confuse football with it's myriad of complex factors from psychological to strategy to logistical etc. etc....all very complex and requiring a TEAM of people with decent brains and down to earth attitudes.

Winning isn't hard. Neither is arithmetic.

Your numbers...are off a tad Zool. Your's @ [B]'452' and mraynrand's '456' further out of whack.

whack...what a word...whack...whacky...whacked...whackless...whac kmore...whackover...whackatoo...whackaboo

ie whacker...ie ... Use a weed 'whacker' with the correct gas and oil mixture.

ie Mario...aguessaa awaahtaa... An tonnio...got ahh whacked last night.

Who won?

Ina hard bare ass debate as that would have gone..just like in a serious like to the death stret fight:

NO ONE WINS ! Obviously you don't have experience in that like I certainly do.

Why do I write that !?

Because "YOU" would never have in any manner supported mraynrand and certainly not mraynrand as he was/is in any debate with me.

mraynrand couldn't possibly have won in such a debate as I would have taken it. Secondly even In my victory and exposure of mraynrand .....I wouldn't have won.

Noone ever wins in such pitched battle's HowardRoark.

I've won more damn fight's than I can ever recall. I grewb up as street fighter and gang leder in the toughest damn City in Canada by reputation and TRUTH. I could tell you stories and that crap that would raise the hair on your arms. I grew up gang leader in the best and toughest gang of my era. You didn't mess with the lad's "of Little Chicago ". Yea ! No fricken' shit HowardRoark. My past is rich..my past had to sometimes mean ( my real name) and and as gang Leader dealing with certain shit.

I grew up in the most Irish Canadian city or the First city in Canada..Saint John, NB. Try to check out it's history and the Irish immigration and aftermath of that. It was very close to living in Belfast ,Ireland. a lot of CRAP going down.

The wolf pack mentality prepared me for any such crap as mraynrand might (try) to swing on me...woodbuck27 which only concerned me interms mostly for his well being/health.

Furthermore on this entire mess..and... it was a fucking mess....

Noone on this form...on Packerrats won, HowardRoark.

Noone here won .... again.

The result and immediate aftermath of this mess and mraynrand mostly 'leaves me with sadness' over the conduct of the membership. I'm very disappointe in your role in this.

You screwed up HowardRoark. Don't deny that TRUTH. You backed mraynrand's neurosis. That's OK...your not trained by life's school of learning to recognize such.

It's OK. You do the best 'you' can. maybe you can meditate on it all and your part/role and take that in a new direction. Failure should result in growth.

mraynrand:

I feel total support for certain happiness for mraynrand that he'll actually find proper support to help cure his sickness... his neurosis/mental condition.

Life is hard for all of us.

I hope I'll see more (good) in the future from you HowardRoark.

They committed false report and spoken untruths; secondarily, they're slanders; sixth and lastly, they have belied a lady; and thirdly, they've verified unjust things; to conclude, they are lying knaves.

hahaha I love that part. I can still see my school mate doing that part. It's so funny when acted out right and the beard and glasses on the nose a must...Dogberry..yaa ... gotta .. love him. (slang)

Back to the yogism and how this all ties together or comes full circle:

I left responding to this post until an appropriate time. I saw this response in the snap of a finger but 'of course ' I needed it to be me and put it all together.

Cont'd in second part of this post .... Please look for that:

See Post # 8238 For First part. Thanks

My Bud's and I lived to play hardball and street hockey until 16 years and work after school and in the summer months. We talked sports all the time. Sports trumped girls. Girls always were there because we were athletic and played all the sports. Girls were dances and after dances. Friday and Saturday nights. Sports just worked all round. That's why I love Packerrats. Packerrats keeps me young.

To have a place like this to talk football.....priceless ! Argument and know it all attitudes here is beyond stupid. It's clear insanity. Such shit certainly will exist. I wonder what percentage of internet poster are actually whackd out of their minds? I have to research that if I can afford the time. I'm over the top busy with living.

That's why from this time forward; well truthfully it's always been just that and me. I don't take shit. That's not the cut of my jibe.

Don't look it up....fricken relax......

No poster here is ever going to attack me again and not get told. Just as that ever starts, that poster is WRONG.

I'm positive I've committed that same error in my past. Never this:

This is absolutely insane ...behaviour.

To do that to one poster over - and over - and over again....To come on Packerrats with a sick day to dat to day etc. on and on and on again...stalking agenda. FUCK RIGHT OFF ! GET A LIFE !! I'm not directing that to any one individual here because no one individual is ever again worthy of any of my such attention. What I experienced over the last one - two months is absolutely ... total SICKNESS.

No one is better than anyone else here in my Packerrat RULE book. Challenge that.. debate any shit out of that ! I'll defend that hard !!

No member here deserves such unfair treatment. This is a football forum and we're all Packer fans.

I'll post as often and as I please; and if that annoys the shit out of you...deal with it. "Just" ..deal with it.

That's why you get (got) it back in spades. Wrong guy to try "Lord and Master" over. I don't bend over. Not that and woodbuck27 I never sell out because I'm always fair..... really the wrong guy to fuck with.

If your going there ( ever again) you better bring your army of fools with you. I appreciate a fair fight.

This is moot...it's over.

Now I'll wrap it all up nice and neat for Y'all:

"It ain't over 'til it's over." Yogi Berra

There's an implied hint right there. My most commonly used *** Yogiism ***.

( *** "dogberryism" or "malapropism" whatever)

I'll add some of why my friends love me....next post..

If it doesn't make you laugh ... you need a really long, really really long rest from Packerrats.

My name is Ed............... woodbuck27

BTW, it's "insure." You may have it confused with breakfast:

Here's another meaning for Dogberryism or malapropism:

Ok Woody....this is a place for music...I generally don't go for telling people where to post ANYTHING...but this is sacred ground....just like the FUPA thread.

Two things Freak Out:

1. I totally agree with you. It just doesn't work out that way if your being staulked and harassed by an aggressive member. I know that won't happen again and me. I won't put up with anymore of that CRAP as long as I'm alive. I've never had to even imagine I would ever request that any member be banned. mraynrand got me there for his own healthe. I'd trade punch for punch with the like of him and certainly hold my own but ... in doing so I have to consider that man's / members health. He's a train wreck...waiting to happen.

I wasn't trained not to be observant and not care Freak out. I'm trained to be very observant. I subscribe to the philosophy..." Keep your friends close...your enemies ...closer ". I observe the members here very carefully.

Packerrats hasn't exactly been a Pro Sports Team Forum that you'd expect to see nominated for the Pro Sports Team Forum "Three Musketeer's Award".

"All For One ... One For All."

It's not like on the streets where you deal with their shit PRONTO.

In here the idiots can work a very cruel agenda. You must blow that kind out of their masturbatory bathtub. The internet is loaded with all manners of crazies and neurotic lonely people. I read them as clearly as a Stella Aertois Label.

A person cannot fake crazy. It is what it is. You have to be about half alert to spot it. You know this shit. You've been around from what I observe here .

I'm not sure if I've done this previously or not but whatever happened to you and the Pro Pickem'!? You've been showing good results . . . growing better as an analyst.
It's getting tougher with any member out of the gate fast and with a 20-30 CP cushion. There's much available for analysis.

2. Freak out ... that shit is over !

I was merely responding to all posts.

"YOU" check it out Freak Out if you really want to know the TRUTH if you can afford the time.

Here it is on a platter:

Go to on page #411. I've 169 consecutive posts and all 'as you suggest "JUST MUSIC".

See post #8215. Please try to get a proper perspective THANKS. I'd sure appreciate your understanding and that. :!:

Surely you know :flm: a Flame :flm: when you see one. See post #8215. See post #8216. I was merely compelled to respond. It's just like this Freak out if it is a tad graphic :

If "some idiot" shits on your door step?

a) Do you 'simply' scoop it up?

b) Do you upon recognizing "the idiots shit"; go after "the idiot" and settle accounts?

You may be a pooper scooper !? I'm more than that.

I settle accounts. I take that to where I'm positive that asshole never squats over my door step again. I .... REALLY .... FIX ... IT !!

Stand by me Freak Out ... to really fix it.

Get it finally get it all to TRUTH and >>>RIGHT... NOT WRONG.

Address your complaint to the member (s) that DO deserve your complaint. Take your issue to mraynrand / aka Cleft Crusty. He's the man you air that out with NOT woodbuck27...me.

Furthermore:

Go back to page #403 and you'll see HowardRoark's post # 8044. PLEASE....Understand his role in this FRICKEN MESS.

Last time I was over on the Packer forum that member (mraynrand) was posting as ...Cleft Crusty. He's a tough act to keep up with. Multiple personality and all.

OK then... you've got it, Freak out. Your enlightened.

Thank You. Have a great day. Enjoy Super Bowl weekend. 8-)

Who wins the Lombardi Trophy Freak out ?
